"Located in a really neat white area with other restaurants, Dangerously Delicious Pies is a unique establishment. My son loves visiting here. We took a two and a half hour ride from Virginia for him to get his steak onion and gruyere cheese pie. Sometimes the crust on a sweet pie taste like a Savory crust...a bit salty too. My favorite is the pineapple right side up and coconut chest. Yesterday we purchased to date night specials which is a really good deal. A man came in and got a whole key lime pie for a surprise birthday gift. They have a made to order crab Supreme pie that sounds delicious. I would say that they need better bags for their product because it is a little bit weighty. One of our bags busted on the way to the car. The bags are definitely too thin for anything but fries. Which I don't think they serve. I don't know what was in my peach pie but it looks like rhubarb or something red ?skin?. So ask questions. I think the next time I'll just stick with what I already like and no experiment taste testing. Take a good look before you decide. Some of the combinations are not my preference but could appeal to others. I like my fruit pies a little loose with a bit of juice. Overall it's an interesting place and Worth a try. The owner is a male so dudes tend to come up with their own combinations. I would love to try the Scrabble pie but the cowboy quiche ingredients are not always the same. That's why I would ask questions before getting something and take a good look. I will definitely get the pineapple right side up again and the coconut chess. It gives me some ideas of what I might want to come up with for my flavor palette. To be fair I cook and design recipes, my grandmother was a bigger forward so I've had some great desserts and experimented with many cultural food dishes. This to me that I am partial about certain blends of foods and ingredients. But I do think I might try to make a Scrapple quiche with crispy bacon on top, maybe Applewood. Fyi, Scrabble is not scraps of pork it is a cornmeal based pudding like but firm and sliceable product with sausage like seasoning. Very delicious crispy prepared on a cooktop, not deep fried. Some brands are better than others, rapper seems to be the most available in grocery stores. And it may be an acquired taste. Give Dangerously Delicious pies a try."

"Village Inn-Titusville, FL- 4 stars “O-oh, back on the chain gang (ho-ah)...” – The Pretender Since you might be able to say from the opening offer, if not the name of the restaurant to be reviewed in this post, I am back in the chain restaurant mode. I know it's not for all of us, but enough of us to do it. This time my random local generator spewed from Village Inn in Titusville, FL. Do you have companies in 18 states (including Alaska) with a majority of them in Colorado, I guess stones like their food? Well, with so many restaurants in many states they have to do something right. I'm moving into the sparingly filled parking lot, I have to admit some doubts crashed, but I pushed it aside and entered it. The place was clean, friendly and enthusiastic a local welcome. When I took my place, Rebecca, the waitress took my drink order. Now this is a quick service! She then went cheerful and professional to answer all my questions and then took my order from an Ultimate Skillet, a short stack of pancakes and a reub with a side of steamed broccoli. The Ultimate Skillet contained frozen, non-fresh hash brown, ham and vegetables. For a chain restaurant, however, I am impressed by the execution, as it was perfectly boiled eggs. The flap jackets were a more crisp, but so buttery and milky on the palate. What can I say about The Reuben? It looked great, but it wasn't so good. I think it could be an ingredient problem because it certainly wasn't a problem of execution. Maybe it was the end of the meat or maybe not as high as I used to, regardless of it, it wasn't tasty. The side of Broccoli was fresh, crisp and pleasantly prepared. The Big Boy says, For a flawless meal in a family-friendly environment and budget, this Village Inn will do you just good! #bigboy #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy"
