"Was told this was the best steakhouse in Alton Illinois. So we gave it a shot. Children got a kids cheese pizza, and for $6 each the quantity and quality was pretty good, 5/5. Wife and grandmother got the shrimp scampi, both said it was kinda bland, but it is just a garlic butter sauce so I can see that. Shrimp was kinda light for the shrimp to pasta ratio, but enough pasta for two that was for sure, 4/5. I had the 6oz pepper loin with loaded baked tater. Potato was great in size, pepper loin might of been a light 6oz but plenty in flavor. Ordered a med got med well. Now the reason for the only 4stars. Noticed on ticket, we were up charged for things that were supposed to be included like strawberry vinaigrette, $4upcharge but was supposed to be included. And a 2.75% credit card fee. Kinda odd. I run my own business and don’t have to charge cc fees to cover just odd. Especially with no notice. Atmosphere is nice, but after 6pm seems to get rather loud, couldn’t hear the person two seats to my left without them yelling. Overall, wed give it another go, just withdraw cash first."

"Love this place! I have the same thing every time we eat here because it's so delicious and I can't get it anywhere else. I always start with the Scotch egg. A hard boiled egg packed in sausage and bread crumbs and deep fritted to perfection. It comes with a wonderful diving sauce. I know some people who don't cheat at all. But do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disappointed! Then on the chicken and rag cake, with the most beautiful puff pastry I've ever seen. The content of cakes, with huge Hunks of chicken, is absolutely delicious! Then the sticky toffee pudding, that's my favorite dessert everywhere. If I tell you that moist cake rolls well in your head with the toffee sauce, I mean it! My husband had the Georgia peanut soup, with Jalapenos he enjoyed very much. His head was fish and chips. He has the double part and cleansed his plate!! It's about an hour and a change journey for us from Bethlehem and we can get here once or twice a year. It's SO worth the ride!"

"We were so often with Mercato that we finally reserved for one night. Apparently, the layout is a little haphazard; that they are not able to make the best use of the space as it is currently sitting. The tables that are located near the entertainment are very unpleasant. If you make a reservation, do it early and ask one of the stands. We landed at the top near the window, which was for people watching inside the Wine Loft. It is usually a Naples quantity older than we are sure, but the women are dressed while the men in their Tommy Bahama shirts and cargo shorts. But let me tell you when the entertainment of some traditional jazz covers moves to some dance music, this crowd is up and moving and they don't seem to care that their butts are sitting in the vicinity. Shyla was our server and she was wonderful. She was careful to go and ask the cook about an allergen, and then delivered great descriptions of the cheese board. We had the little cheese board, the Bruschetta and Scallops. I am not a fan of fig jam (part of the cheese board), but it is homemade and my husband enjoyed it. There are some great flavors possibly my favorite was one with the red crumbs (can not remember for the life of me what Shyla said it was, but it was incredibly good). The crackers are supposed to be in the house and they were good. I liked the broschetta with the tomato/cheese mixture in a bowl and the roasted bread was served in stacks. I'd rather arrange it for myself to bite, and that's exactly what it allows you to do. It was a little higher on the acid side than I would like, but still good. My husband loved the scallops. He thinks the winery also makes his own grottos because he said he could taste the corn. I'm not a groll, so I don't know if that's good or not. We are huge fans of roasted cauliflowers and the page contain roasted cauliflowers with Pancetta. A hit. I know they like their wine list, but my husband ordered a vodka martini, straight, blue cheese olives. It thought it was quite strong compared to some of the Martinis he had other places in the city."

"Prime rib was perfect, the manager Kat was so nice and greeted us as we came in (Friday). I’m pretty sure our waitress Debbie is magic like a wizard or Mary Poppins, she would pop up right as soon as we could think of anything to add to our order. 10/10 would do again!"

"I love the St PAUL Grill, but the lamb chop I had was the toughest lamb chop I have ever had. That was disappointing. The prices are up as well, I had one drink, no appetizers and no dessert. My son doesn’t drink and the bill was $150. A bit disappointing but I knew what I was getting myself in for."

"To start, ordering our food was frustrating, I had to repeat at least 3x for each item we ordered. They didn’t give us our total, we paid with visa and got charged to use a visa debit. We ordered 3 items, medium pizza with one topping, a wrap and cheese fries and the total was 50$. Seems a bit too high for the items we ordered. When we called they explained all the little charges, delivery charge was $4 and visa debit was for 3$. Absolutely insane. Do not eat here. You’ll be ripped off. Food was okay, but not for the price. "Reservation accepted and seated on time at a table as requested. Alexa provided friendly and courteous service throughout our dining experience. Disappointed that shrimp cocktail was not available. Overcharged for a glass of wine from bar at$6.50 despite being advertised as Happy Hour and listed as $4.50 regularly."

"For what we paid, it was not worth it! The Chicken Wings were starting to turn, and if I can tell that, and my dogs won’t touch them…they are bad! Garlic bread with cheese a HOT MESS, as for the pizza well, throw ranch dressing(too much) as a base, chicken, bacon and cheese how can you screw it up?! TOO MUCH DRESSING!! However, the crust was good but, $41 for good crust?? NAH!!"

"Carmine's Coal-fired Pizza is both accessible and affordable. The regular menu offers quality burger and pizza choices, while offering sophisticated Italian dishes and sides not usually served. The outdoor seating has protection and fans to cool diners in the setting sun. You can't go wrong with any meal. The brunch is surprisingly elegant and inclusive!"

"This was the perfect stop for our group of 13 on a Thursday afternoon after a hike. Our group ranged from 7 months old to 55+ and everyone found something delicious to eat. Milkshakes on the go too were a great plus!!"

"This was my first visit to Seasons, and overall, it was a positive experience in terms of food, service, and ambiance. The bisque soup was absolutely delightful. Based on the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service from the waiter, I would recommend Seasons. However, I encountered a significant issue: I was unable to reach a live person by phone when I needed help with directions. I couldn’t get the assistance I required, as only voicemail was available. Although Seasons is listed at 141 Maple Road, it’s actually located on Country Club Drive. There was no information on their website with the correct address, nor were there any signs on the highway to guide people to the country club where Seasons is situated. I believe it’s crucial for restaurants to have a way for customers to easily contact a real person instead of just leaving messages."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"This is an old Italian restaurant bar. A lot of regulars. However, I’m giving this 4 stars because I had a Greek salad that was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh. It was abundant and delicious. They make their own salad dressings! I had a creamy apple dressing. It was so good. I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu. The female bartender was a little too cranky for my tastes. But nonetheless I would definitely go back."

"I wanted something different to eat for a special occasion. Well, something out of the ordinary. So I went to opentable.com and found this restaurant named Lucy's in the DTC. I checked out their website as well as their menu. The web site was limited and did not show photos of the restaurants atmosphere but the photos of the food looked extraordinary. So I took a chance and made the reservation. When we got their the place was very contemporary and laid back. It was upstairs from the Comedy Works (in the same building . I actually had made reservations for the Comedy Works so it worked out perfect. Let me tell you I have eaten at quite a few five star restaurants and this one was extra extraordinary! The food was just unbelievable. They serve homemade cornbread and whipped butter to start. I ordered lamb shank, beef tips, brussel sprouts, Caesar salad, and dessert. The food was wonderful it makes my mouth water thinking about it now. The wait staff was friendly, courteous, and outstanding. He went out of his way to explain things on the menu as well as to insure that we had an excellent experience. I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! I cant wait to go back :"
