"Beautiful place, phenomenal food! Huge portions. We did feel very rushed by the waitress. We were still eating as the waitstaff asked to wrap up our food for take home and at the same time handed us a dessert menu. We had to ask them to please slow down and let us finish. "Late night in the Tiki Bar! Some drinks enjoyed a nice mood. In any case, we need to remember here for a nice place to finish the evening again for Valentine's Day, we did not dive, but everything was packed and was still hot when it came home!! Food was fantastic! We had the Cupid's Crab Cakes and broken seafood combination together with a small neck steamed mussels in red sauce appetizer. We eat other days here, but their VD specialties are so good I feel that I have to post about them!! Never had a good meal at any place Vince owned. . . They were all EXCELLENT! Tonight was no exception, we went to Valentine's Day. Started with steamed mussels in red sauce, followed by Cupid Crab Cakes and Veal Sinatra. Both came with asparagus and potatoes. We also had a Love Potion Martini. Thank you for the beautiful rose for my beautiful wife! Can't wait to come back!"

"It’s like I want to give them 5 stars for their effort and it’s really hard to find a 24/7 place that even has vegan options... but literally almost all vegan options that they have are tofu-based. And it’s not even cooked well or seasoned. If they put as much creativity and effort into their vegan corner as in 98% animal products based massive menu, they could’ve made so many delicious options for vegans.. like tofu is not the only thing we eat. Their vegan menu pretty much represents the common idea among omnivores that vegan diet is plain, super limited and boring, when it couldn’t have been any further from the truth. All it takes is a little research."

"Was told this was the best steakhouse in Alton Illinois. So we gave it a shot. Children got a kids cheese pizza, and for $6 each the quantity and quality was pretty good, 5/5. Wife and grandmother got the shrimp scampi, both said it was kinda bland, but it is just a garlic butter sauce so I can see that. Shrimp was kinda light for the shrimp to pasta ratio, but enough pasta for two that was for sure, 4/5. I had the 6oz pepper loin with loaded baked tater. Potato was great in size, pepper loin might of been a light 6oz but plenty in flavor. Ordered a med got med well. Now the reason for the only 4stars. Noticed on ticket, we were up charged for things that were supposed to be included like strawberry vinaigrette, $4upcharge but was supposed to be included. And a 2.75% credit card fee. Kinda odd. I run my own business and don’t have to charge cc fees to cover just odd. Especially with no notice. Atmosphere is nice, but after 6pm seems to get rather loud, couldn’t hear the person two seats to my left without them yelling. Overall, wed give it another go, just withdraw cash first."

"Best food ever. Steaks are perfect! The atmosphere is so amazing. The red napkins complement the restaurant. The staff there makes everybody feel welcomed. The bar menu has an amazing skirt steak sandwich. And the baked clams are amazing. Try the Cajun calamari it’s to die for! The cowboy ribeye is very good! Along with their home made cream spinach and potato puffs! Love it there. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!"

"We made a reservation and arrived on time, but no one acknowledged us. Finally, the manager looked at us and asked if we were waiting for a table. After waiting for 20 more minutes and at least six different staff members passing by us, we decided to leave. The server took a very long time to get the check on us. Speaking of what you're coming here, you're just taking cash. When I asked why it was a non-cash total, the employee reacted The credit card company paid 4% and the restaurant refused to pay. Leave the surcharge to the customer. I know many places do that, but the answer, the restaurant refuses to pay... the restaurant, I am sure, makes a lot where they can. Slow service with fraud fees. I don't recommend this place. That was just my experience."

"I’m so glad we wound up stopping here because the other place we were going to was closed. I love oldschool diners, especially the outdated roadside Americana ones with steel exteriors…. But they almost never have anything vegan. This place has an entirely separate vegan menu, where just about every diner classic is accounted for.
