"Beautiful place, phenomenal food! Huge portions. We did feel very rushed by the waitress. We were still eating as the waitstaff asked to wrap up our food for take home and at the same time handed us a dessert menu. We had to ask them to please slow down and let us finish. Otherwise definitely a 5 star restaurant!!! Will ALWAYS return!"

"I used to order from this place when it was called Penelope's so I decided to give Rony's a try. I ordered a large plain pizza for take out. That's it. A simple order. Got the pizza burned. Took it back inside to get my money back. Was offered another large plain that was already in another box, but I didn't want it. (How long has it been sitting there? Who knows, who cares The owner, I'm guessing, starts talking back to me when I simply stated I wanted my money back. Mind you, I was not being hostile at all. He just didn't want to waste money and throw out the pizza. Maybe don't burn the pizza for your customers next time. So get this, he said it was my fault and that I should've asked for a lightly cooked pizza. Really? You mean that I have to call and order a lightly cooked pizza every time because you don't know how to make pizzas? So, please tell me, who calls and orders a burned pizza? Instead of apologizing, he keeps running his mouth and tells me how he has lots of customers (yet his parking lot is empty). I feel sorry for the fools who order anything from this dirty pizza place. By the way, what do you think he did with the burned pizza he gave me after I returned it? Do you think he threw it out? Nope! He put it on top of his oven and will probably try to pass it off on the next customer. I wouldn't give Rony's pizza to a starving rat, it's that bad."

"We made a reservation and arrived on time, but no one acknowledged us. Finally, the manager looked at us and asked if we were waiting for a table. After waiting for 20 more minutes and at least six different staff members passing by us, we decided to leave. We never had the opportunity to taste the food, and we would not return due to the poor experience."

"We were in the city of NYC for a few nights. We ordered from a few local places, and our best experience was with Frank 's. We didn't know what was good, so we ordered some items in the first night. After a not so great experience that was ordered by a local diner for breakfast, we went back with Frank's in the second night. My children who are super picky have torn off the pizza and chicken fingers. The salads were fresh and delicious, and the portions were very generous. Hoagies also get a thumb. I was surprised that the Fried Shrimp Platter was basically popcorn shrimp, but my son ate it so that a thumb also gets. My daughter loved her spaghetti and meatballs. Overall delicious and comfortable."

"I went to lunch with a friend today. I ordered lunch Special of Chicken Parm, with Ziti. When our order arrived, I was amazed at the very generous size of the part I received. Lunch Special was more food, then serve some places for dinner. The waiter who helped us was extremely attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, both Tenafly residents who might not have tried it, and visitors. I think they are very happy here"

When I arrived and called to let them know she was rude and said we don 't do curbside and I said the app had the option and she said I don 't know why , like It was an inconvenience. "I came on Monday at 4 p.m. so natural, the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food arrived quickly. The pasta is delicious, well cooked and hearty portions. The salad was fresh and I like how pasta entrees with side salads come as standard. The prices here are very good and overall, this is a great place that serves high-quality food with good prices. I would recommend coming here, especially as there is a wide selection."

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"
