"There aren't that many dining options in the area so the Chesapeake ought to be the top choice for a nice dinner. It was certainly a rewarding change from the disastrous meal we had at another local eatery the previous evening. There are sufficient options on the menu to satisfy most people. The food was excellent nicely presented. All the servers were friendly helpful, but the lack of fine restaurant experience on the part of some of them was evident while the lack of a deep pool of experienced wait staff in this area is understandable, management could do a better job of training. They were all quite attentive however. Sufficient COVID precautions were in place and most diners wore masks when not at a table eating. Overall, this was a very good dinner we recommend it as the place to go when in the area"

"at 5p.m when they opened when we had tickets for the 6:30. we have about 5:10. we have not received our salat or our escape until 6:00 a.m. after we told the server at 5:40 that we needed our choices. the chicken stable of my man was cold and my laugh was cooked. we couldn't send any escapes back, as we had to leave for the order, I suggest that the restaurant is open at 4:30 a.m. when there is an order. even if they check in with the maitre d they have to ask if they have lecture cards. my experience was extremely poor, we will not eat in storico aghain."

"I brought my friend to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday and had to bring my toddler along. The restaurant was very accommodating for kids and the staff and manager were extremely friendly. The food was delicious."

"The menu is pleasantly diverse and seems to prefer those with more vegetarian taste. I had the goat cheese fritters, absolutely delicious. Then I have the squirrel with Farro, again very tasty, but hard on the sage. For dessert I had cookies and milk, delicious"

"The place was nicely decorated and the interior of the restaurant was very welcoming. The bartender and host were very friendly. Our waiter was soft spoken and easy to deal with. We waited quite some time for our biscuits and entree. The place was 90% empty. My Shrimp and Grits were excellent. No complaints. On the other hand pieces of my wife's fried chicken were not cooked all the way through. The waiter was prompt to fix the issue but once again it took forever for the new piece of fried chicken to be served."
