"I had high hopes for this place. It is in a great area and next to Toyota Music Factory. Unfortunately I can only say it was sub par. Arrived at 5:15 since we had a concert at 7:00 looking forward to a new sushi spot. Ordered the tuna on crispy rice appetizer and the shrimp on crispy rice. Shrimp was overcooked and tough. So tough I could not cut with a fork. Tuna was a golf ball sized mashed up mush of what they called tuna. Both were atop a large hash brown type cake that tasted fine but way to heavy. Next we ordered the blue crab roll. After 20 minutes of waiting our waitress advised they were out of blue crab. She wasn’t sure at first if they were out of blue crab but after checking twice in the kitchen it was official. We then tried the hibachi fried rice which was average. After all, it was fried rice. We opted to stop there and save our appetite for sliders at Thirsty Lion. Good happy hour prices and very cold Kirin Ichiban. Therefore, If you are not looking for quality sushi and only happy hour bites this may be an option before a show."

"This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at this restaurant. Our waitress, Vivian, was incredibly rude and inattentive. I don't know if it was because my friends and I are people of color, but that's the impression we got. She never checked in on us and we had to go up to the hostess to ask for anything we needed. It would be advisable to hire staff who actually care about their job and are attentive. And to top it off, she demanded a tip after her terrible service."

"Love Jikan. This was my go-to sushi place pre, during and post covid. The quality never changes. The service varies. Sometimes my food is ready at the time given, but it changes depending on how busy they are. My favorites are the Sunkissed Roll, Wei Roll, and the Ika Gesso. The Ramen is satisfying if you're craving it but nothing crazy about it. Hope they bring back the bbq but it doesn't really look like it."

"This place has an authentic feel and takes me back to my holiday in Japan. This is a cool place with great hospitality, there's never a long wait even if busy. Good ramen, however, I think something went wrong with the broth because it was quite salty to my taste. Otherwise, the broth was always balanced and flavorsome with no weird pork game taste like a lot of the ramen places.Reasonably priced and quick. We come almost every two weeks after work."

"This place was on my list for a while and I finally made it! It was definitely worth waiting! The service was amazing and the food was also great. Our waiter was super helpful! He made suggestions, explained the various dishes and also answered our questions. He was super attentive and constantly checked us! We went to the Happy Hour to use the drink an appetizer specials, so I started with the mai tai what was really good!! The balance of alcohol and taste was perfect for my taste. The appetizers we got were the Szechuan chicken and the Tempura shrimp roll. The Szechuan chicken was very tasteful. I especially loved the pickles that came with them. We also had the Tempura shrimp roll, which was as expected. I ordered the beef rays, which was okay, but I got it with the fog butter by the recommendation of our waiter, and I think that ruined it for me, but I liked the beef. The broth was not super hot, which made it a little less pleasant. My guest had the general Tsoji chicken and I tried it and it was good again!! I would definitely recommend if you get it in Chinese restaurants. We also have two different desserts, the lemon cakes and the egg rolls that came with two flavors, apple cake and cheesecake. You were my favorite!!! The lemon cake was also good, especially if you like the lime cake. If you look at the pictures, the presentation was also very nice. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely return! Our waiter was called Zack, I think, but he was amazing!!"

"Great sushi! We sat in the sushi bar that the chefs were friendly. I wish it was closer to us (we live 20 minutes away without traffic). We can't wait to go back. My favorite was 'Grill Shrimp Roll' and 'baked scallop California roll'. I'm sorry, we forgot to make a picture of this, but believe me, it was deeeeelicious! We ordered the grill shrimp twice. The first photo is as it comes, and in the second photo, I add eel sauce and extra spicy Mayo. We had a second of baked scallops, but we're full. I recommend trying this place."

"The seafood ramen has no flavor, also looking nasty, it is supposed to be to go , but the noodles part is wet already, yes they gave two to go bowl, one for dry(noodles and seafood) and one for wet (the soup/broth), but the noodles in one bowl is wet already, it seems that they mistakenly placed my ramen into a bowl and realized that opps it 's to go, so they quickly separate them. I even saw hair in the noodles part, yak dirty. Also, that tall woman there seems angry, when asking questions about if I want soy and hot sauce, I answered yes, but she didn 't place soy in my to go bag. Confusing, why in customer service job, if you are not good in customer service! If I can only give zero star or negative star, I would!"

"We love Kabuki Japanese Restaurant in Las Vegas! And we are grateful to find Kabuki here in Oxnard, CA! Me and my hubby have dined here twice in less than a month since moving here. The sushi has always been amazingly delicious. Their drinks are super yummy too! And of course their ramen noodles are our favorite. I love the spicy miso ramen! The only thing I?d suggest is make sure you come early because there is usually a long wait to get seated. Their sitting and tables are limited. This restaurant is not as big as the one in Las Vegas, NV."
