"the culinary experience was very good. very difficult to hear our server during the meal due to the noise level. the lobster was very good, but not a great value. I had more tasteful ny strip steaks and the most expensive bottle of wine I could find was 155 dollars. a very nice birthday dinner in the did, but this restaurant and prices are beneficial for business cost accounts and not family food."

"The food and service at this restaurant are incredible. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were impressed to see many expensive cars using the valet service. The oysters were fresh, and my ribeye cap and lobster tail were definitely worth the price. My friend tried the lamb and said it was the best he's ever had. They have a great selection of bubbly drinks. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. I would love to go back soon."

"We were so excited to try Steak 48 as it has such great reviews but to us, it honestly didn't live up to the hype. It was very good but there are plenty of very good steak restaurants in Charlotte. Be careful of choosing the backbar seating for dinner as they will very seriously seat you at the bar and not a table in the bar area. Sitting at the bar for a $300+, 2 hour dinner is a little awkward (think holding the menu in your lap while you eat your appetizer). Overall, we will very likely go back for a special occasion or two as it was very good and the service was impeccable."

"I went to this restaurant for the first time this weekend with my boyfriend, who has been there several times before. Our waiter, Fernando, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The sweet tea was exceptional and the hot chicken bites and duck fat fries were amazing. I am usually a picky eater, but I tried the chicken fried chicken and it was perfectly crispy and flavorful. I wish I could give this place a 10-star rating. I am looking forward to going back again soon!"

"This was the worst experience we’ve had at the Tavern. First of all they were entirely out of Chardonnay and Cabernet wines by the glass. Seems ridiculous as this restaurant is located in a high end hotel. I asked for dressing on the side of my entree salad and it came with the dressing on. My husband’s meal a salad was tasteless. We were quite disappointed as we’ve always had a good experience. For the price you can find much better food and service"

"any vegan option here is a winner. each individual. we came almost every day at 11:15 clock because this is when the menu was turned around, so we could choose between the breakfast or the lunch menu. avocado toast without the egg, is my favorite. the sourded is thick cut and the avocado is generous and well seasoned. very good filling out the pizza was great, I love that there was no mock cheese, the ingredients perfectly flown. Impossible meat that is paired with bitter arugula would be a dream match I would never have thought of. açai dish was made beautiful and delicious, but not the best I ever had. not even top 5. the cocosyoghurt was also made beautiful and absolutely delicious!"

We told her she opened our wine and told us the specials, she insisted she didn’t , however then did take our order. "We have eaten at many steakhouses and thought that this one was one of our best. We started with the meat balls and the crispy shrimp in the eggs. Both were excellent. My sons ordered the small sized ny strips. They were thick and flavorful. I had a the large bone in filet. Was so meaty. My wife and daughter had the sea bass and crab cakes.. steaks were cooked to perfection and the seafood melted in your mouth.. service was excellent. Eric our waiter was very attentive. Something you don’t always experience eating out in post COVID."

"Awesome sandwiches, and by a wide margin the best bread i've ever had! The Dutch Crunch is to die for. The chocolate chip cookies are worth a quick stop on their own. I love you guys but please try to troubleshoot the online ordering pickup. We frequently order catering for our office at Executive Square, and when we go to pickup our order its usually 15-20 minutes late. Some days we're on a time crunch for meetings so I just wish the pickup times were a little more conservative."
