"A must visit for any newcomer to western Pennsylvania, Pizza Joe's offers an array of delicious calzones, strombolis, sandwiches, and of course, pizzas. Occasionally a little on the greasy side (which is definitely not a bad thing), Pizza Joe's offers up square cut slices of pizza nostalgia. It's a delightful joint, and whenever I visit my hometown, I insist on others experiencing this food. I endorse this pizza with my stamp of approval. There is a great menu of regional styles that all taste great. Even a gluten free option and pretty good one! The strombolis are delicious as well very well made and just the right size. The only bit of strangeness comes in their gyros where they use a pizza shell instead of pita, but oddities aside, it is still pretty good."
