"the fish was fresh and delicious and that is important. the decor needs a refreshment, the industrial look is worn and tired and makes the place look dingy. I found our server scavenging and irritating. Otherwise, the sushi was good so I would return for it."

"Tokyo Steakhouse is always a fantastic choice for date night when my fiancé and I visit Ankeny, Iowa. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and the service is prompt and friendly. They offer a wonderful selection of dishes, from hibachi grill options to beautifully crafted sushi and rolls. The cocktail and drink menu complements the fine dining experience perfectly. While the prices may be a bit higher than at some other restaurants, the quality of the food justifies that little extra cost. My fiancé and I regularly choose this place for our dates, and we plan to keep coming back again and again. Be sure to try the Tempura fried cheesecake—you won’t regret it!"

"There was a lot of buzz surrounding this restaurant, so a group of friends and I decided to check it out. I found that 1. the techno music was overly loud, 2. the lighting was too dim (I could barely see what I was eating!), and 3. the sushi portions were quite small. There are many fantastic sushi spots throughout the city worth trying. You could give this place a shot if you feel it's necessary, but I didn’t find “Blowfish Sushi to Die For” to live up to its name—it was just not that impressive."
