"Good food, but questionable customer service. I ordered an ice cream coffee, server asked if I refused vanilla and I. We were accused of additional costs for vanilla anyway, and the cashier seemed not satisfied with changing it. What was changed to $4... when we came back, they seemed even less happy to change that. It's a trivial amount of money, but it's the principle. Good and fair customer service would make it right without trouble or attitude. Edit: not sure how to react to the owner's response below. This happened today at 11:30 am at the San Mateo site, and we have dived. Take the offer, but don't worry about the ice cream, we won't return. Just make sure your workers have a good morality."

"I thought I was going to pay 11.25 for a salmon Benedict and however much for a cup of black coffee, but my bill was $24+. Their list of breakfast specials was covered by patio furniture and their menu has a section listed as breakfast specialties which are NOT breakfast specials. The hostess said many customers have been confused by this which begs the question why haven’t they fixed their menu or made this clear for clientele? Just confirm prices before you order! I have no issues paying $24 for my breakfast but I think it’s manipulative to not be clear about menus/prices. As a Bgame native, I won’t go back. Also, I could see that the shredded cheese that was pulled out from the kitchen was moldy at the bottom of the container so definitely not fresh…"

"I just want to give you a realistic expectation of this place. In a word: subduing. The service is good and minimal what I prefer. I'm trying to eat with my wife. Friendly and not intrusive. Coffee refills abundant. Coffee: cheap, diner coffee. I choose my coffee. Not to forget. But it's just brown water with milk and sugar. Hit the caffeine repair. Pancake: solid pancakes. However, at about $3.75 for a folding jacket, absolutely not worth the cost except you? I have a pancake. Eggs: good eggs well prepared. But it's just eggs. Cookies and Gravy: Cansworst white Gravy with not enough sausage. Thickness and slightly cooled. Biscuits were chewing and microwave. Absolutely 1 star. But I ate them because I paid $9 for them the two eggs. Wife has French toast. It was about $15. We updated to the cinnamon roll French Toast?. It tasted like a French toast. What is solid, but the French toast is easy to do and when charged, we expect more. No hits. Syrup is high fructose maize syrup, unless you have extra for the premium maple syrup. Total: You? You hardly get a bang for your ass. It is cheap diner food not even cheap GOOD diner food. Mostly Bland or simple flavors for inflatable prices. As an example, you ?supreme burrito? is about $14. It contains eggs, grain oil cheese and Ranchero sauce. No meat. For 14 dollars? re getting an breakfast burrito without meat. That's the kind of deals? I'm here. I am not bitter to go here I knew it was a gamble and my wife and I enjoyed checking this place. I hope it helps. I wouldn't recommend going to this place."

"This place gets crowded. Was hoping they'd take bigger real estate across the street but it's understandable that they're comfortable where they are. Very popular place. Staff is extremely nice. Waitress Teyana was a pleasure. It was my son's birthday and she gathered the staff and they sang happy birthday to him. Great place. Tastefulfood. Free parking and there's extra parking a bit further down road. Ask if you need parking."

"Clean, spacious and welcoming restaurant. Often on weekends, they have someone who plays the piano in the waiting area. Food id tasty and riddle is immediately. Very beer pancakes are the bomb to harvest together with the cinnamon toast and chicken salad. Mocha turtle coffee is delicious. I'm going to breakfast. Update: I do not recommend the Burrito. Very bland and chicken was dry. My breakfast date reported the waitress and the manager was more than accommodating."

"We enjoyed breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Colonial Cafe. The food was the usual, good quality of any Colonial Cafe. The servers were friendly and busy. The Easter Bunny made the rounds, danced and passed out plastic eggs and toys. Great way to start the weekend!"

"What an awesome restaurant. We love the setting and our waitress was fabulous. Ask first Cherie the next time you dine. Great service. Let's talk about the food. I hade the stuffed biscuit and my wife had the omelet with the brie cheese. Oh my God,this was the best breakfast I've had in ages. Our food was amazing. "Loved it 20 years ago I still love it now! The quality remains unchanged I hope they NEVER go out of business! I have always been tickled pink by the food the service. If you have never been here, you are seriously missing out on one of the best, nicest most well established places around. GO NOW! "This restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast. I have been coming here since I was a child. The house style cooking is delicious. It can get crowded because it is not very big, so it is best to arrive early or be prepared to wait a bit. The country fried steak is probably the best I have ever had. We also love their Friday fish special. The fish is always great and it makes for a delicious meal."

"I had the pleasure of dining at IHOP for the first time recently. I was thrilled to see an IHOP as our local one had closed years ago. The hostess quickly seated us and we were served by a wonderful waitress named Ninfa. She was pleasant, accommodating, and made our dining experience enjoyable. We arrived 10 minutes early for IHoppy hour at 2, and Ninfa kindly took our order before the promotion started. I ordered french toast and sausage, while my daughter got a crispy chicken sandwich - both were delicious. To my surprise, our bill came out to only $12 for both meals. My daughter jokingly remarked that her meal cost more at McDonald's. With great food, excellent service, and affordable prices, you really can't go wrong dining at IHOP."

Unfortunately, some of our dishes were only lukewarm, but had they been served hot, they would have been exceptional.
