"I have come here over the years and this latest time, I've noticed that the quality was not the same as before. I ordered the Taiwanese hot pot. We understand they are busy but we had to flag down the server every time we needed something. Side sauces could be improved in taste and presentation as well. This is not a cafe so I thought they could improve on the quality to be restaurant standard. Food came out at a decent amount of time. Meat quality was chewy and rubbery. Not as good as they used to be unless your taste bud went down. 7/10Broth still good as I remember 9/10Sides quality is not the same as before 7/10Overall 7/10I also felt that the price did not live up to the quality of the food. I would happily pay for an equally worth it quality of food, but that was not the case here. Quality could be improved to be on par with Tasty Pot SF or another competitor Boiling Avenue"

"We tend to choose Tasty Pot over Boiling Point most times because we feel there is more MSG in Boiling Point. And honestly, it's just a hot pot: they all taste pretty similar most of the time. We like to come to Tasty Pot when we have a craving for a nice Chinese hot pot and this definitely satisfies our cravings without leaving too big of an MSG feeling in our mouths like Boiling Point. 1. Beef Hot Soup 4/5 The classic soup flavor you can get here. It has a strong beef flavor and comes with many ingredients. Love that it comes in a sizzling hot soup and you are able to turn it off whenever you want. The meal also comes with a cup of tea and the tea is surprisingly very good quality! 2. Curry Flavor Hot Soup 3/5 Honestly the curry flavor is pretty forgettable. Tried this broth just to try a new flavor, but we liked the beef soup much better."

"This was our first time trying Taiwanese food and we enjoyed them a lot! The food was super TASTY! Please don’t miss this place when you are around Dinkytown.It reminded me Chinese malatang 麻辣烫 , but it had more choices of pots/soups and allowed you to choose the spicy level. My husband loved their Kimchi Dumpling Hot Soup. ?I highly recommend you to ask for their dipping sauce. It was much tastier with it!"

"FRAUD!I visited on May 20th and ate with my brother. The staff didn't speak English. I found it odd that you ordered food online, paid in-person instead of ordering from the Waitress. I guess since they didn't speak English this is how they had to do things.On May 21st I get a suspicious charge on my account about a English as a second language learning program, for $270. This location is the only place I've used this particular card for the past couple of weeks, and given that it was an ESL charge for Taiwanese staff who didn't speak English to begin with, I find it highly probably one of the staff stole my credit card information.DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.The food was disgusting as well. I ordered the veggie hot pot with a side of lamb. The land was cooked dry, no oil or seasoning, and tasted like propane. The hot pot itself was also bland, and had strange vegetables and mushrooms I've never ate before.Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place."

"The 9. Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup is SO good and packaged well with no spills. The soup was still really hot when it got here too. I also ordered Pork Intestine as an add on and the portion was so small for the price. Id skip that if youre thinking about getting it."

"Drink bar is very nice, and ordering is really easy. Compared to places like Kung Fu Tea, me and my friends enjoy this place a lot better. The drinks are very reasonably priced, and the sizes are perfect. Flavors are amazing! Definitely recommend!"

"When Tasty Pot first opened, I went a couple of times as wasn't impressed with the flavors. So for years, I really haven't gone back. Recently, I visited again, and I'm not sure what changed, but I really liked the flavors this time. I got the Cheesy Milk hot soup, the soup was boiling hot, flavor was on point, and the spice level was good. The others in our group got the Lamb Hot soup and Thai flavor hot soup. They enjoyed theirs as well, I tasted all three and liked the Cheesy Milk the best, but that's personal preference. Last night, I was feeling sick and I ordered to go, and it was still hot and tasty for take out too. Bonus, if you eat in the restaurant, you get free sweet tea, we liked the green tea that was served the best."

"Individual hot pot holds a special place in me and my wife's hearts. Their soup has lots of flavor and the ability to choose the spice level is awesome. And portion size is just right. So why 4 stars? Well, it CAN be a bit inconsistent. Over the years, we've been here nearing triple digit times, and sometimes the soup is too watery, but that is a big sometimes and doesn't happen too often. And when that does happen, we just let it boil off for a bit and we're good to go.Check this place out if you like or want to try out hot pot."
