"I was in Detroit for a business trip and met a local relative at Tap for dinner. My overall rating of fair took into consideration that the food and service were both very good; however, I did not know that the restaurant would receiving lots of second hand smoke wafting from the open casino areas. We have very strict public smoking restrictions in CO and, because I have asthma likely due to a parent who chainsmoked when I was young, we had to cut our dinner visit shorter than hoped because my lungs began crackling and my head began pounding before too long. Very disappointing and unhealthy dining atmosphere"

"I booked a reservation for Sweetest Day for my husband and I. Apparently it kicked me to the next day but I didn’t see it and when we arrived the host was so kind and still accommodated us. Our serve Jamal was great and the food was amazing. Lamb chops, Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese were all on point! The margaritas were excellent. Truly a great dining experience. I would come again for the food and the ambiance. You almost forget your inside the casino."

"we had an event to celebrate and that was the choice place. the meal was excellent and the service was excellent. there was a bigger group that celebrated at the same time, so I expect the noise level was higher than normal. still we had a wonderful evening."

"Tucked under what looks like a water tower, we followed the signs to the front entrance. We passed a few outdoor dining tables before entering restaurant. I felt a lite lost at first as we were right in the dinning room and didn 't see a host station. A waiter greeted us and showed us to a table. The dinning room was small but found the decor to be very fitting for the restaurants name, Swiss BistroI . I decided on ordering the Jager Schnitzel with a large Bavarian Pilsner. Five minutes after my beer was served, my dinner was served. The Schnitzel was served with a mushroom sauce that was very good. The Red cabbage had a hint of sweetness and I found the spatzli good but tad a little bland. Our service was good and the wait staff friendly. This is a place I will return for my German food fix."
