"We tried the House waffle with strawberries, Nutella, chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and their whipped cream and it was incredibly delicious! I am already craving another one and I just wish they had more locations in Texas like Fort Worth or Arlington. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. We visited the one in Legacy Food Hall which can get very crowded, overwhelming, and hot, so I suggest eating outside if you can."

"Our group of five was seated in a room at the back of the building at a round table meant for 6-8 people. It was difficult to have conversations as we were spread out, and the room was dark and lacking in decor. Being away from the main dining area made us feel isolated. It would probably be better suited for parties of 2-4 people, so they could sit in the front. The food was delicious and the menu was diverse with many enticing options. However, the service was slow. I suggest they consider adding tables meant for groups of 5-6 people."

"We ate here on a Saturday night and had no problems getting a table without reservation. The food was very good. Highlights were the complementary cheese dip served with salsa and chips, the house made corn tortillas, and the house Margarita. Actually, everything we had was very delicious. The ambience was very strong and funny. We ate on the terrace that was on the cool, January night we were there. Our server was slow and disappeared. But that was more annoying than a real problem. I highly recommend this for a casual night outside."

"A great place to have a date or bring your guests out of town. It has a beautiful sea view. Enjoying a drink while enjoying the sun and the sea is the best way to enjoy life. After a hike on the Terranea hiking trail, we stopped from Nelson to get a drink and snacks. Since we had seen a lot of posting of the huge pulp on Yelp, we ordered one to go with our drinks. It was the best pulp I ever had. It was soft and delicious. Besides Bretzel, I heard that the Hamburger is excellent, and fish and chip is also amazing. we will soon return to try their food on the menu. Our server provided us with an excellent service. Hats of her. We really enjoyed our time here. I heard the restaurant also offers live music at night."

"This used to be a high end, top notch dining venue. Was surprised I was able to get a same day reservation on Father’s Day. It was not full or busy. We waited 10 minutes for our table to be ready. Then another 15 minutes with no one coming to our table. Finally, I asked someone to find our server our water glasses were finally filled and another 10 minutes until our server arrived. Food was slow but the oysters were fresh and tuna tartare tasty, albeit small. My swordfish, risotto and asparagus were prepared perfectly. Another person in our party reported the portobello mushroom was good but the arugula purée, unpalatable and hard to avoid since it was throughout the entire meal. The third person in our party had the scallop and risotto dish with the arugula puree as well. Fortunately, hers on was other side of the dish and avoidable. Opted for the check over dessert. As we were leaving, another party was complaining to the manager for subpar service and incorrect food items being served or all together forgotten. Won’t be rushing back. It used to be one of my favorite places. People use to dress for the Terrace, many people were dressed as if they were at a beach bar."
