"The food was delicious from the starter to the dessert. We order the popular Placinte la Tigaie （cheese pie） with cheese and dill，Solyanka （soup), COSTITE DE MIEL (Lamb ribs) and the almost melt-in-your-mouth Syrnitki (cheese pancakes for dessert). Everything was great except that the soup was not for my palate. If someone likes sour soup, you will love it. Otherwise, don’t try it. The setting was elegant, the presentation of the food was enticing and the service was wonderful. You won’t be disappointed."

"We are eating breakfast in this cafe every time we are vacationing in Florida. Great choice of food for all ages, everything fresh and great quality. Very friendly and attentive to customers service. We tried casual dinner once and I was taking aback with the quality of fish soup, it was exactly like one I am making at home( I just wish they would go easier on the salt). And my husband had the same sentiment about his chicken soup. Lamb chops and salad were superb as well! I wish they would branch up north, we would eat there often."

"Food portions are too small. Ordered the lamb dish and there were only 4 bite size pieces of lamb and the rice was no more than a cup. Way too small of a portion for the price.The Babushka salad was just cucumbers and tomatoes in a very bland vinaigrette. It was really boring. I could have made a better version at home.The pierogis were good but the broth tasted like "better than bouillon. "Portions were so small we had no leftovers and that 's rare for us. We were hungry an hour later."

"Amazing and lovely restaurant. We ordered take away but can’t wait to come back and sit down to dine with these amazing folks and this delicious food. I had to wait a bit for my food to take home to family but was entertained by a music man while waiting. I did come back and many times! This place never ever disappoints! I love to support the fine Ukrainian folks here as well as other nationalities that work here. The food is simply amazing and Anastasia is just the most professional, knowledgeable and attentive person. Saturday nights they have a great DJ and lots of loving people out for dining and dancing! So nice to have this in the 818 again but this place is even more special because of the chef, the staff and the ambiance."

"The potato pancakes were thick and crisp. The Creamy Mushroom Soup is rich and delicious, even better with a bit of sour cream. The Beef Pelmeni in broth are a vonderful comfort food, just like the Vareniki Potato. the Vareniki Cherry are a perfect light dessert and this is enough for multiple meals."

"The dumplings were very good, the pork kabobs were chewy, but seasoned well. The chicken Kiev was well executed but the frozen vegetables on the side were soggy/underdone. We requested water halfway through the meal (after finishing our beers) and never got it. It wasn’t busy, and there were two servers. The ambiance was strange, red plastic tablecloths and lots of fake chandeliers and a sparkling stage. My husband lived in Russia and said it was pretty authentic. The waiter rang my order up incorrectly and didn’t give me the full value of my groupon we were using. They didn’t provide a bill before us paying via credit card, so I didn’t realize it till later. We probably won’t return."
