"I only gave this place star because I couldn’t give it zero stars!!! The food was terrible from the tamales to the tortes to the quesadillas and I ended up throwing up before we even left the restaurant. It literally tasted like they got our food out of the trash and I wouldn’t recommend this spot to no one! They are given a lot of stars online in their reviews but keep in mind that could be family and friends and friends of friends giving these bogus ratings because it was terrible ? even the service was terrible and I’m not the type that would run out on a bill I will pay but will never go back again and do just what I’m doing give them a bad review! Don’t waste your time or money!"

"I visited the restaurant on 01/10/2022 in the evening around 6 pm. The woman working there at that time was very unprofessional. She did not greet me upon my arrival and seemed disinterested in helping me. She got my order wrong twice and even placed my shrimp taco on another table before finally bringing it to me. I was not impressed with her slow and nonchalant attitude, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. It took 15 minutes for me to receive my chips and salsa, which is something I have never experienced before at this establishment. Usually, they have great service, but this particular visit was disappointing."

"Delicious food and super nice staff. Large terrace with umbrellas for beautiful al fresco restaurants. The chips and salsa are great. The green sauce had a good kick. The Ceviche Acapulco is so good with the Jicama and cucumber and lime tomato sauce. The fried banana order is quite large and perfect for sharing. Overall great atmosphere and attentive service to enjoy the delicious food and drinks. Very recommended!"

"I'll be as honest as I could. It's not a high-end meal. That's very good for street food. It is fresh as it could be (it is certainly not long to change because the meat is heated on a skewer and they keep it beautiful and moist). The vegetables, herbs and spices used are always fresh. Seriously, it's Gyro Fast Food, but fresh. If you are looking for a chic Greek place, go somewhere else. If you are looking for simple gyros and plates, eat here! The portions are good, the food is tasteful, ALWAYS they have added the tzatziki sauce for you when you add your gyro, it tastes better!"

"Great Oysters super fresh! Green Ceviche was to die for and we even asked them to swap the Shrimp for the Snapper. Tuna Tostada was spot on with flavor and texture. Shrimp Tacos were amazing. Drinks were handcrafted and tasted great. Spicy Margarita and Dragonfruit Margarita delicious. Only thing that was annoying was they kept trying to clear our plates and we clearly were not done with them. I don’t like feeling rushed especially when the dining room was almost empty for a Saturday night. I don’t understand why the food was amazing. Maybe it’s location not so great."

"Excellent services, waitress guided us through cocktails and food in a way that maximize our experience. We ordered three appetizers for 6 people. it was adequate portioned, a little of everything to taste. Main course was also well portioned, well prepared and innovative flavors (corn crusted halibut , others ordered creative tacos (octopus, crab meat, etc and were happy to with their selections. It was a friday evening, music perhaps too loud, (for 7pm making it hard to have a conversation, acoustics of the place are do not absorb sound well (high ceilings, warehouse echo that made it hard to talk among a party of six, dishes and cocktails were creative, good quality and well prepared, but tiny bit overpriced (for some one coming from NY area. I visited because it was across an old restaurant I loved that closed (Tiger Mary . Good place for a couple, not for a large table, specially if you are buying ;"

"The only good thing about the restaurant was the ceviche de Camarones. However, the Camarones Al Ajo was disappointing as it was not real shrimp, but krill with the full shell on. The rice was dry and instead of beans, we were served cold and soggy French fries. The roll was also cold and soggy when it should have been hot. The shrimp taco tasted old and they added jalapeño chunks, which I cannot eat. Overall, we spent $70 and left still hungry, feeling like it was a waste of money."

"These were the best aguachiles ive had in a long time! The search is finally over. Hopefully when order again they wont disappoint , cross my fingers they are consistent . Super good , they had such a good spice but it was so comfortable to enjoy . Id say 9/10 . Also very good amount of shrimp for the price . I was a bit disappointed thought seeing I order a agua de sabor, i was expecting a agua fresca not a jarritos . Please be more specific and maybe put jarritos instead, because $4.99 for a jarritos is crazy . 4 star aguachiles . 2 star for the $5 jarrito."

"The food was awful. I ordered the Burrata salad it was really bad. I also ordered the Salmon which was good buy the on the plate was spinach with Chick peas that tasted terrible. I got extremely sick during the night from the food and lost one full day of vacation by having to remain in due to being ill. I will NEVER eat at LaRoca again. Something was bad and I became violenty ill."

"I ordered the Botana Guisada $24.99). It came with shrimp, octopus and Abalone, accompanied by rice and beans. The braided seafood was not terrible. It was constantly seasoned, but the texture and consistency seemed to be frozen seafood. The rice was boiled and there was no spices. My husband had the Camarones Al Ajo $18.99) -Garlic Shrimp, which were small, overcooked and underseasoned. His rice was also boiled. The fried were the only redeeming quality of this meal. He also ordered a shrimp quesadilla $5.95) that was good except that it was quite small. When we first arrived, there was no one who greeted us, so we were just clumsy in the hope of getting someone's attention. After sitting, the service was actually relatively fast, so until there was time for the check. It was so difficult to alert the servers, but I can't mistake them for this, they seemed to be understated. The atmosphere was strange. They had a live band that I would normally enjoy except that it was too loud for this type of event. It was impossible to talk. Overall, definitely not recommended. Note: I would have rated this place a little higher, except that my husband and I both ended with terrible stomach pain. Nothing's gonna do it."
