"we came to lunch on Tuesday. it is an unexpected location and the outside area is a bit down. the inner is dated, but it cries authenticity and it is clean so it works. tvs playing the Spanish channel ran in the background and a friendly, efficient staff is there to welcome, serve and deliver. eating is very traditional Mexican cuisine and it was good. I loved the chips and salsa (but the guacamole could have been better) we sister and I cleaned our shield and we would definitely go back. I would like to bring a big group and take over the room!"

"Horrible!!! Its a lump of plain ground beef. Thats it. Pricey for $16 bucks. More, I did not tell them to with hold the other toppings. I asked only to leave out the jalapeño. Not cute or tasty. Refund please! Bland and rude to serve this! See the pictures. In addition, they served half a cup of guacamole, plain, no toppings. A bare scanty 1/2 cup. 8$ rip me off bucks. Refund, please. I thought this was a five star restaurant. Im very disappointed. Look at the pictures. Elk. The pics says it all. Gross!"

"Went to Xochi for the second time yesterday after not being too impressed the first time but my niece wanted to try it and I wanted to give it another try. I was not impressed with the food the first time and the second time was no different. The scallop ceviche was not marinated and the scallops were very fishy tasting. My tlayuda was dry, lacked seasoning and overall flavor. It tasted like the components were just placed on the tortilla without any seasoning at all. My wife got a seafood dish that was similar to paella but she said it wasn’t too good and she would never order it again. My niece got chicken mole and she said it was good but it was much better in Mexico. The dishes seem to lack “soul” and seasoning and seem to be more concerned about presentation than flavor. They look nice but completely fall short on flavor. My 2 visits were two years apart and the problem with the food still exists. Doesn’t the chef taste the food? I used to have a food blog and I have been to hundreds of restaurants and other than the presentation, this may be one of the most overrated restaurants that I have seen. I must say that the churros and chocolate were very good!"

"I've been here twice now and the food is phenomenal. However, after today's experience I don't think we will be back. Stopped in an hour and half before close to get a drink at the bar and good to go. Was told the bar was closed, no worries we ordered our to go food. While we were waiting 3 guys came in and were sat and served drinks at the bar. I've never had an experience like this and it was super disappointing. Especially since we do enjoy the food"

"Bought takeout today. Servers were very nice and helpful. Food was ok, but not great. Supreme nachos had way too many greens to enjoy. Taco salad was tiny. Steak is a bit too fatty for my taste. Their burritos are decent, so was their quesadilla it would be nice if they cut the quesadilla."

"Came in from out of town and we came here two days in a row!! Way cheaper to eat here than to eat tacos on the strip! They have a variety of meats ! They give a lot of meat in the tacos as well! I wanted to get an agua fresca but the horchata one you could see the layer of the powder at the bottom so it looked unappetizing. We also had to clean the tables ourselves as there was leftover food from previous customers, Aside from that the cooks were really nice the food was good. Definitely will come back next time!"
