"7. April 2022 we had dinner at one of our favorite local Cedar Hills Mexican Restaurant, Pepitas. They were packed and somehow just fed us two servers. It was perhaps not as fast as usual, but everyone showed grace and no complaints were heard around us. The family at the table, pulled out cards and played Uker. Our server got a 40% tip and deserved everything. Thank you for having done it, and the food was amazing as always. Go and support local."

"Sat outside which was nice, especially with how loud the music inside was. Two of our meals were missing items. The Tacos Doblados were missing sour cream and guacamole, and the Pollo Roastado was missing the smoked sausage links. Unfortunately, the waiter did not speak English and was unable to understand when we were trying to explain what was missing and what we needed. Seemed expensive given these issues. One member of our party got the Trompo Burrito which looked and tasted amazing, so it’s not without any redeeming qualities. Might give them one more try at some point in hopes of a better experience."

"I read about this restaurant in the LA Times and unfortunately, it won't be open for much longer. It's a shame because I have been a regular customer since the late 90s and have loved seeing it evolve over the years. I highly recommend visiting before it closes. They only accept cash, but it's definitely worth it."
