"We took a class trip down to Memphis for the day, and found that this was SUPPOSEDLY one of the best sushi resteraunts in town. However, that was not the case. First, I called twice, asking for a reservation for 20 people. They stated that they “could not take that many people in, since 4:30-5 was such a busy time” for them. Then, I called again, asking if we could split tables again, and they cut me off saying it was too busy for 20 people at that time. We showed up anyway, and there was nobody there, and they seated us in the 2 big private rooms. There were plenty, plenty, PLENTY of space for more than 20 people. Our waitress was very quiet, but she tried to do her best. However, she did not speak much, and when we tried to get her attention by saying, “Ma’am, excuse me?” at least 4 times, she ignored us and walked out. Now I know 20 people is a lot to serve and there will be mistakes made, but there were many orders that she did not write down, and some people did not get their food until an hour and a half later. Now let’s get started on the food: the sushi was great. However, the hibachi, stir fried food was not. Everyone’s hibachi and stir fry were bland and weirdly sweet, like the taste of Brioche breadcrumbs. I got the Yaki Soba Vegetable noodles, and they were basically spaghetti noodles with oil, a drop of soy sauce, and I could COUNT how many broccoli, carrots, and zucchini there were. There were 4 pieces of broccoli, 3 pieces of carrots, and 1 SINGLE EDGE of a zucchini. That was supposedly $13.99. I also got (3) 2 pieces of nigiri, and for 2 pieces, it was 7 dollars. My total was approximately 45$, which was definitely not worth it. Unless you are planning to get just sushi, for hibachi, I would definitely go elsewhere."
