"We dined here last night hoping for hibachi. It was busy so no surprise there was a long wait so we chose a booth instead. Drinks and appetizers came out rather quickly but the entrees took a very long time. So long the waiter came back 2x to tellusit would be there shortly. No worries- we like fresh hot food. Once our food finally did arrive it was delicious but COLD. Myhusband also ordered a seafood platter that was short on the #of scallops he was supposed to have. I could see quite a bit ofconfusion in the back and it looked like they had lots of to-go orders so I didn't complain. We love this restaurant and oftenorder but specifically came so it would be hot&fresh (with the hope of a hibachi show). Food is always delicious, but apparentlylesson learned: stick to the hibachi side if you want your food hot."

"So many delicious and creative rolls. You can tell someone put thought into creating the recipes for their vegan line and we greatly appreciated this. The menu has all vegan items clearly marked and they even had vegan desert! Everything was so good. We went during happy hour so everything was also well priced."

"We arrived at location on New Years Eve, the cook didn't want to wait for some people from my party to return from restroom to start cooking and do tricks. He claimed that the place was so busy which wasn't at all) and he didn't want to wait. When he started cooking, there werWas only 1 trick anyway where he tossed a piece of a contaminated vegetable at my direction without telling me that he was going to do so. The piece of contaminated vegetable hit my eye which made me upset , so I yelled at him. Also, the witress was very rude, she grabbed my soup off my table without ask whether I was done with it. Lastly, upon paying the bill, I didn't tip because I felt that services was horrible, even a crack head can do better. The witresss has the nerves to confront me by pointing at my receipt that I needed to tip her according to the tip percentage breakdowns. I had to tell her off by asking her do you think that the services provided deserves a tip? I can't believe the nerves of that witress, demanding for a tip. They definitely ruined my New Years Eve.I will not return ever again. Please be aware of my experience. Overall, the food is simple ans tasteless, overpriced ans lastly rude/ disgruntled workers."

"Am (was) a regular, and used to the slow kitchen. However, tonight food was over 1.5 hrs. to get to the table, and when it did 1/3 of order did not arrive. When Mgmt. finally came they were unapologetic, and rude when advised of issues was told if I did not like it, don 't come back. Have been in restaurant industry for years and used to off nights. It 's how the customer is taken care of that counts. They have lost a local regular , and will take my business elsewhere where it appreciated in these times."

"Food is good, but is the attitude that comes with it worth spending your money here? NO. I called for the lunch special for Teriyaki chicken, however, I forgot that I wanted the extra sauce on the side as well. I called back and mentioned to the lady who I was recently just talking to that I wanted to add extra sauce on the side as well. The hosts said okay Mhmm hmmm no problem. Once I get there she repeats the order and mentioned that I asked for no sauce on the teriyaki chicken and that I just wanted it on the side completely. I told the hosts that was not what I said. Instead of just saying okay she proceeds to go back and forth. Once I told her for the third time that 's not what I wanted. She now then has an attitude because she has to re-open the back and add it. While opening the bag very aggressively she then hands me my card and receipt to sign with attitude. I should have just left food there and walked out but this would be my last time because the attitude was uncalled for. I order from there all the time and they will see that on their register when you call. However, this is not the first time I encountered a attitude with hosts either. My fiancè has been going there for a long time and I told him after today I would no longer be spending my money there. This restaurant needs to work on its clientele and how they talk to people. It 's not a good feeling when a consumer can feel negative energy."

"I have had a lot of sushi around Pittsburgh and elsewhere. I can say, positively, that Yukiyama is the BEST sushi in its price range in the city, and possibly in many other cities.They have many vegetarian options and their menu has a specific vegetable roll section, which I have verified is, indeed, all vegetarian.Service is incredibly kind and is typically very quick. Whether ordering in, online, or in-store takeout, wait times are almost always less than 15 minutes.Yukiyama is also open 10am-10pm EVERY DAY.Overall, they are my staple restaurant. "Not your typical sushi bar. This this place gives off a Asian American flair to it. Lots of food options from rolls to noodles. Ordered two rolls and a soup noodle bowl, all of which were very good. "Just moved here from Orlando last year. So excited to find this place. Best sushi I have ever had. The rice was excellent, airy and the dinners were just as good. I will definitely go back. Only negative was the 3 loud obnoxious children that kind of ruined the experience. The father did nothing to settle them down, they acted like it was a play ground."
