"Once I finally sat down, she told me to move because that spot was for delivery people. But then she seated someone else at that same table who was Asian. That didn't sit right with me. What made me even more uncomfortable was when a white person came in and she immediately accommodated them, even using terms of endearment. I overheard their conversation and it seemed like he was a regular. But that doesn't excuse the fact that I was treated poorly and had difficulty being seated at the restaurant. As for the food, it was okay, nothing special. Maybe I wouldn't be saying that if I hadn't been treated so badly. My advice to them is, if they take their business elsewhere, they should leave their racist attitudes behind. Being racist is unacceptable, especially in NYC. It's disrespectful and embarrassing for the restaurant. I'm happy to hear they are closing in a month. Hopefully, they can take that bad energy with them."

"I ordered a few times from here. The food is always delicious, but I was so disappointed tonight that I wanted to post on this topic: bad customer service. I ordered the lemongrass chicken dinner without vegetables, but with extra lemongrass sauce. When I wanted to confirm this, the restaurant manager and chef said that I had to pay extra for the sauce, and as I had already paid, they could not accommodate me. So, I said, Well, doesn't it matter that I save you money by not having vegetables in my plate? Isn't it good that I want a little extra sauce? The manager was sincerely disappointed. I can't believe it. How ridiculous. You told me I could have something extra, but nothing more. How do they not understand rationality?"

"We really enjoy this restaurant for their local sushi. It is definitely the best in our area without a doubt. However, I am deducting one star because the food is never ready on time when they give you an estimated pick-up time. They initially told us it would be ready in 45 minutes, but an hour later it was still not prepared. They then said it would be ready in another 10 minutes. The food is definitely worth the wait, but it can be frustrating when you plan accordingly and they are consistently 20 minutes or more late for pick-up. We have no complaints when dining in at the restaurant."

"I was there for lunch with my friends celebrating a birthday. I ordered from the lunch menu 4 California rolls, 2 crab rangoon, salad which had amazing dressing, a good size piece of salmon with vegetables, and fried rice for about $16.00. I had a martini with vodka cucumber and mint. Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive and it was quiet so my friends and I could enjoy the time together. Highly recommend."

I have never seen mushroom cucumber sushi before so I tried it wouldn’t get it again but it was ok with some spicy mayo. "From the moment you walk in you’re immediately greeted warmly. And I love the decor. The sushi bar in itself is a decorative piece and makes you feel like you traveled elsewhere. We got there in time for lunch. And if I’m being honest I was too hungry to take pictures so the only one I got was of my salad. But I will definitely be going back so there will be an opportunity to actually capture the food. I ordered the chicken fried rice and my plus one ordered the Pad Thai. We both opted for the side salad instead of the miso soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. We both had left overs and packed them to eat later. We also ordered the iced Thai coffee and it was perfect. My only mistake was not ordering extra to go because when I ate my leftovers at home I wish I had more! Definitely give this spot a try. The ambiance, the service and the food are top notch and all worth a visit. We would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. I can’t say enough about this spot."

They should have been shut down permanently Last week: Erie County restaurant inspections for Aug. 18-25, 2021 7 CRITICAL VIOLATIONS Chopstix Express, 3842 Liberty St. (Hand sinks blocked and not used, one filled with bowls, one with miscellaneous items. No paper towels were in the dispenser. Live German cockroaches fell out when the dispenser was turned. Raw ground meat and raw chicken were in the walk-in cooler stored above vegetables. Prep tables are not being sanitized and being wiped with a wet cloth. Uncleaned knives were found on the uncleaned magnetic board. Food debris was not removed. Garlic and oil mixture was found at room temperature near the cook line. Sushi rice was found at 90 degrees. Both should be below 41 degrees or higher than 135 degrees. , Tuesday. The restaurant was closed Tuesday for cleaning and extermination. Violations were corrected and the restaurant was reopened for takeout Wednesday."

"The time that I went with my family I did not have a very good dining experience. It took over 40 minutes to get our food and we were the 2nd group that arrived when they opened. The hostess seem to really have a rude manner. The waitress tried her best tohelp us. Overall the food was good. The speed of the service was not very good being a sushi place. Overall I would notrecommend this place for dinner but for lunch I have had good experiences so go for lunch!"

Chickens did not look like chickens that were crushed into too much sauce, salmon was a strange quadrature that was also crushed in the way to buy lots of sauce, rice over boiled, Californian rolls tasty business, and the egg rolls tasted like frozen F foods. "toad style was amazing. on my visit to nyc I was in many of the plant-based options available to me. toad style was 12 minutes to walk from the place I was in brooklyn. I have crocheted with my friend in these little corners, which offers a solid, home-style menu. jackfruit nachos sunken burger buffalo blumenkohl quesadilla we ate in the house and had some skillful limonaden that were too good. the nachos were delicious. the creamy cheese they have made for it is too good. my absolute favorit was the sunkenburger. my god, that's a good burger. it was perfect fusion of taste. I really wanted to get another one. the aromen in the quesadilla were great, sincere we were not too fond of preparation of flower cauliflower. I assume it is cooked then pan sautéed, which is not too flattering in cheesy and flimsy quesadilla. Perhaps a more rigorous style of embossing the cauliflower is more attractive. still we enjoyed it. even finished the queensadilla as left over the next day. great spot."
