"Went here one day after driving up to Trees of Mystery wanting to find some good, quick Mexican food in McKinleyville. The food service was quick but it was not good. I got a California Burrito with pork and was disappointed. The meat was moist but over-salted and the rest of the burrito had almost no flavor to it. Ordered a Modelo to try to make it more palatable but couldn't finish the burrito with the IPA they served me instead of the Modelo I asked for. 3/5 star because of the poor food quality. The restaurant was clean enough, there was enough parking a restroom for customers."

"Having lived in states bordering Mexico for decades my tastes are very authentic Mexican food tuned. This restaurant was amazing for the location. I'd never have expected such good Mexican food so far north. That being said, the food is adapted to the community. If this was in South Tucson, for example, I'd give it a lower food rating. Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options!"
