"Quite possibly the smallest ramen portion I’ve ever seen by chicago and Japanese standards, it’s about 2/3 the size of an average ramen bowl. Two entree and two boba came out to be over $50 after fees and tips, which is not worth it in our opinion for what you are getting. We tried the sukiyaki ramen and sukiyaki don. The ramen broth is tasty, though there is a hint of msg which is really not necessary. The sukiyaki don has a tiny amount of beef on top of rice, and half an egg, which is not at all worth the $15 price tag. The only thing we were impressed with was the ramen egg, which was perfectly soft and seasoned.Onto the Oolong boba, which tasted powdery and watered down; however the boba was soft and chewy.Despite of the dissatisfaction with the food, we received prompt service from the waiter who was very friendly; the bathroom was also spotless. Our biggest gripe with the place was the portion, which we think is something that can be easily improved upon. Until something is changed, we will not be back."
