"I am sorry to say that this was the worst experience I have ever had. How can a wedding venue with over 200 guests not have air conditioning? It was a disgrace that nothing was done about it. The area around the building was filthy and overall it was a terrible mess. As the groom's older brother, I am extremely disappointed. I have experience in business and it is clear that this establishment is not being run properly. I will never return, even if I was offered the venue for free."

"Mint has recently gone through an ownership change, but they’ve kept the name and the same menu as the previous management. There’s some growing pains, but on the whole, the food is still quite tasty. I think they still need to define (for themselves) what is meant by ‘mild’ vs ‘very hot’. Also, new items like the coconut shrimp need to be refined a bit too much sweet coconut milk can diminish the subtle flavors of the delicate shrimp. Will go back!!"

"I tried this place on the way back from Santa Rosa, beautiful location in the hilly Mill Valley, with very limited parking, first I thought it was a North Indian restaurant, but after eating there I can certainly say that the cook is?t North Indian . The food was average, slightly overpriced for the small portion size, ordered wiper tikka, it was ok, chutney came in a really tiny container. Her Daal makhani and Kadhai wiper were okay, but not authentic, aloo paratha had turmeric in him and the basil garlic naan saw more like a Tandoori roti with a sprinkle of basil herbs not the fresh basil?. The masala chai was not completely boiled and was so bad for 4$ per cup?. The worst thing was that he gave us Basmati rice, which were not completely cooked, we thought it was free, but later he saw us charged for it, he also charged us for the onions and the green chilis, which is free in most places? and they needed a long time to bring the food? Don't you think I'm ever back?"

"I had a great experience at Deccan Spice. My wife and I brought a vegetarian friend who enjoys Indian cuisine. It was the first time there for all of us and we were all impressed by taste, size of portions and menu options. It took a surprisingly long time for someone to come to us after we first sit, so we didn't have any water or nothing as we searched the menu. I ordered starters, but at the same time as our entrees, because the service was initially slow. It was also difficult at the end of our meal to get the bill and pay. I finally went to the counter to get the attention. That means I'll like to return to Deccan Spice because the food was brilliant and our server was pleasant."

"This used to be my favorite Indian place ever and suddenly and without warning it has gone seriously downhill. The last three times we’ve ordered takeout, the food has been noticeably less good, and incredibly disappointing compared to how good it used to be. "Since moving from the northeast, we have tried almost every Indian restaurant in Jacksonville and MAA Kitchen is the best. Everything tastes freshly made, and there are always pleasant surprises. You know its freshly made because the food trickles out piping hot the first 15 minutes after the lucnh buffet opens up. Many times you see the chef carrying out one of the main dishes he just finished. We go for the Sunday lunch buffet as brunch, and there are always a few different dishes that keep it exciting, while the more common dishes are always very well made and reliably yummy. I appreciate that they put signs out for all dishes so you can remember the ones you've liked best."

"The food is great, it takes some time depending on what you order, so ready for a bit to wait. The Gobi 65 is really beautiful and crispy and, in my opinion, superior to the chicken 65. You have the best Biryani I had in California. The Dosa is also good, but is not special. They have some more unique curries on their menu that are great and I recommend."

"Reputed and well known Indian place... but recently began to notice the degradation in quality and service. Book an event for 250 people in rasoi iii....went for food tasting in rasoi ii. Excellent service and food tested much better this time. Very friendly people and service has been improved, I guess it was limited due to weekdays and quantity. Still one of the best names for Indian food. Will definitely visit again soon!!"
