"I came here with a friend on a Friday night, where we were seated at high top tables. The night started off a bit sparse, but by our entree serving it had picked up with patrons both eating and drinking. Calm vibe, with modern Western music and pleasantwall decor (although the Star Wars storm troopers were an interesting touch). While I enjoyed my experience a lot, it took me abit to place a rating to this. But I'll get back to this. The cocktail I had, the house one, was great definitely quitesweet but still with a kick. It went down way too quick though, and I wish I had more time at the restaurant to try additionalcocktails. The vibe and expertise definitely is that of a modern cocktail lounge, so this did not surprise me. To start usoff, we got two sets of dumplings the Tapioca and the Chicken/Pork combo. The Chicken/Pork were OK nothing special and abit disappointing. But the Tapioca Dumplings though... PHENOMENAL. Flavors burst from the dish and was very savory. I don'tfully know what tapioca tastes like, but it didn't matter at all highly recommend this to everyone. Given that previous dishexperience, I was a bit disappointed that my noodle curry dish that I got with Pork Belly did not burst with flavor. It wascertainly solid, but felt spice less and a bit dull compared to the complexities of the cocktail and dumplings. As a cocktailbar with small plate appetizers, this place deserves 5 stars. As a restaurant serving dinner, I'd unfortunately give it a 3. Thus, as a compromise, I will rate it a 4 with the following caveat come for pre dinner drinks or a great late nightexperience, but perhaps check out some other areas nearby for dinner."
