"Nice Japanese restaurant in Stone Oak. Walked in and was immediately greeted and given the option to pick any table as it was not crowded. Waitress was very prompt in bringing drinks and taking the orders. She was very friendly and did a great job of constantly stopping by. Ordered the soft shell crab and calamari frito as appetizers. There's not many places to get soft shell crab, so had to try it. It was well-prepared and plated nicely. The batter was very crunch and the soft shell crab very flavorful. The calamari frito was a nice surprise too. It was thicker and sushi grade squid instead of the thinner calamari at most places. For the meals, ordered the Karaegi Chicken, Combo Yakisoba, Mini Chirashi, and two pieces of Yellowtail sushi. The mini chirashi was a nice mix of 3 pieces of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The sushi was all very fresh and of good quality. The seaweed salad that came with it was also really good; I'd even recommend that as an appetizer or side dish. The yakisoba bento meal came with a small salad, gyoza, and small rolls. The salad had a nice dressing, gyoza was nice and crispy, and rolls were what you'd expect. The yakisoba noodles were good, but the meats were a little dry. The karaegi chicken was different and in no related to karaage chicken. It must be their own dish as I'm not familiar with an actual karaegi chicken. Instead of the deep fried karaage chicken, the karaegi chicken is marinated and served in the sauce. It reminded me of a chicken dish you may receive at a Chinese restaurant. Not that it was bad, but was different than I expected. Overall, good experience as the sushi was of good quality and grade. Service was great. I'll probably return and order from the sushi menu."

"This place is amazing! I'm coming here. I have family, friends, appointments and employees here and every single person had only good things to say about this place. The service is great, the owner of the place is one of the most friendly people you will ever meet! The lady at the reception is also a treasure. The prices for sushi here are the same as elsewhere, about $6 or $6.50 per regular role, not too bad. The special roles are a bit expensive, about $10 to $11 each. All in all, if you decide to bring a date here, you will not spend more than $50 on that date. Lunch specialities are also really cheap, took my co-worker here on a Saturday and we each have 2 reels, soup, salad, spicy Mayo and tea. The bill came to $26 we just split it in the middle. Now for food, my favorite part! Sushi 9.5/10 I must still be disappointed with the sushi here. My favorite is the Spicy Tuna, Boston and Eel Avocado role. Miso soup just 10/10. Hands down, best false soup I've ever had, period. No other sushi joint can compare. Your appetizers are also amazing. If I'm really hungry, I get either the Kani Salad or the Garlic Edamame. Both are absolutely delicious. I'll give these appetizers a straight 10/10. Dessert Havent really tried the dessert menu so much, but if I do, I always get the green tea ice cream because it's delicious. Now for the big things: Hibachi. You have two Hibachi tables next to each other. The first time I tried her Hibachi a few years ago, I decided, my 23rd To throw birthday party here with family and friends. I have set up a reservation a few days in advance to make sure we have our table ready. We came to the place and we sat and welcomed immediately. I decided to get the Chicken and Steak Combo hibachi. It comes with rice and vegetables. My chicken was absolutely excellent and my steak was medium rare, juicy and tasty. Vegetable fried rice, nothing too special. I decided to steal a piece of my friends roasted shrimp and it was AMAZING! Must try! The hibachi cook was very clever, funny and beautiful. Don't speak so much English, but it's okay! I had such a great Hibachi experience on my birthday that I ended up singing when I left the venue. First experience 10/10. Can the same say about the second time, I decided to do hibachi here. The chicken was dry, steak was boiled over, food had not enough salt, vegetables fried rice had a lot of soy sauce. I was really disappointed. The service was surprisingly terrible and we were asked to give up our seats for a reservation that came, with which we were all right. I guess it was a free day for her. Second experience 3/10. Overall rating: Service 8/10 Sushi 9/10 Miso Soup 10/10 Appetizers 10/10 Hibachi i would say 7/10 because they are not consistent. On a good day you have a 10/10 experience, but on a bad day everything goes. Dessert Cant comment a lot as I didn't really try the whole menu Venue 8/10 Total score 8.5/10"
