"While driving from Ohio to Florida and enduring a nightmarish journey on I-75, I intentionally stopped at the nearest Rodney Scott restaurant in Atlanta. I had high hopes that it would be worth the traffic and my expectations were met! The service was excellent, the restaurant had a nice ambiance, and the music was top-notch. I ordered the whole hog sandwich, collard greens, and baked beans. The baked beans were outstanding, but the collard greens were overly spicy, overshadowing the flavor of the pulled pork. While I believe collard greens should taste green, the spiciness was too overpowering. The pulled pork, which should have been the highlight of the meal, was unfortunately dry and lacked juiciness. I really wanted to give praise to Rodney Scott, but the dryness of the pork overshadowed my overall experience. Everyone's taste buds are different, so you may have a different opinion. Despite this, I plan to return on my next trip and give them another chance, as you can't truly judge a restaurant based on one meal. Wishing them the best of luck and hoping they continue to thrive."
