All three score high in our book. The tuna, hamachi, uni, and ebi tasted very fresh. The cut was just right. Sushi chefs were focused and didn't talk over the food as they were preparing, and the staff were very nice. We overheard the chefs speaking Japanese so this place is legit. This is our new go to place."

"Best location in Chicago, the broth is similar (if tonkatsu) to the Chinatown location but the pork is significantly more consistent here. Order the level 3 ramen if you want moderate spice but not to drown out the other flavors. Don't order the premium broth, it's always weird and the clams don't really add anything."

"We arrived half hour before closing time. We were told they could only do takeout and not sit-down even tho there were people sitting down and tables available. Either clearly mark somewhere that's what is happening or change the hours appropriately so people can sit during open hours. If the staff wants to leave immediately at closing time then they have to close the restaurant earlier and account for cleanup time.Having said all that, the food remains great, but the customer service side of things needs work."

"Do NOT eat sushi here. Maybe the ramen is ok, but the sushi is terrible. Popped in for lunch and got a combo, roll/nigiri. First off, if there's dead bugs on the table, lord knows what back of house looks like. Got the sushi and the salmon has the dull faded look of fish that is either spoiled, or has sat too long in a freezer. Fortunately no bad smell. Had very little taste (indicative of cheaper fish or freezerburn.)Place looked messy, but I try not to judge a book by its cover I should have in this case. I would not recommend."

"cups were hella dirty, visible stains on every cup they had sitting out. not sure why it’s hard for them to properly clean cups…? when we asked them for a new cup, they just gave us another dirty one. alright…. anyways the pho was extremely bland (I’m talking water pho) and the meatballs tasted funkyyy. never coming back and I strongly advise you to do the same ?"
