"Very much enjoyed my meal here! Food was also reasonably priced and it was enough for me to save half for later. I got the chicken beef combo and also got some spam musubi. I ended up doing 2 scoop rice 2 scoop Mac salad (I like that this is an option). You also have the option to distribute those 4 scoops with vegetables. If you do that, note it is just cabbage and broccoli (my husband ordered some).Overall positive experience, we ordered online and it was ready when we arrived 20 min later. We have never tried Ono before since we usually go for a different place that we're accustomed to. Decided to try Ono since it's close by and they delivered will be our go to Hawaiian BBQ place now!"

"I was really craving Hawaiian beef bbq and ordered takeout from here online. I crossed my fingers and said a prayer or two as I pulled up to the parking lot and saw through the glass that the place was completely empty. I entered the place and was greeted cordially and not by a I was having a great time and now you had to come and ruin it by showing up look that you get by most teenagers working in fast food on a slow day. I told her I was there for takeout and promptly retrieved the second of two orders they had waiting. The food was not as good as I had hoped, it was better! From the meat's tenderness, to the macaroni salad's creaminess! Hands down the best Kalua pork as well! Also, way better ambiance than L&L in Gilroy"

"Normally I love Ono Hawaiian BBQ, we get it as a special treat when we come out of town so it was my first time at this specific location. I was very disappointed with our food today. The meat was really fatty, the portions were really small, customer service was subpar, we asked for napkins cause they keep them behind the counter, he gave us two lol. And bonus for having katsu sauce by the pump. But the musubi did not use sushi rice so it was kind of falling apart and a meager slice of spam too. Also, a pretty meager scoop of mac salad. "eating was good, but I'm disappointed with the short ribs. is that really so? big fat pieces of bone without much meat, and almost all fat? I have seen other ripening like this, and the bones are not so big and it has much more flesh. for me this is unacceptable and the cook must think of the customers and give the customer better options. the Mac salad for me was perfect. it had not too much mayo as other places with a similar mac salat. that was moist and tasty. just one recommendation I would make that they cut the chicken into smaller pieces. it seems that they leave larger pieces to fill more of the plate and give less of it. overall, eating was good. the only thing is that they have to stop plucking on the food. I understand that this could be a management problem, so I regret management to do better and stop thinking with their wallets."

"The food here is always delicious and flavorful. It looks like they slightly increased their portion size in relation to the rice and Macaroni Salad (2) which is great! The Spam Musubi (2 pcs) were two nice chunky pieces and the dish came with more sauces this time which I appreciated as well. "we were looking for Chinese food and from whatever reason this restaurant appeared in our results. as usual, a Hawaiian restaurant provides a good portion at a good price and this place has not missed. eat them and take them so easy. the customer service was also excellent and fast. our food was out, and even after the ten minutes drive to the house and the equipment of our food was still very hot. so for under $30 we were filled and we are suitable with a very good dinner."

"for the first time in this device the device is very well executed customer service is absolutely terrible. the cashier seemed very irritable not to know if she had a bad day that we wanted to order quickly and that was our first time to eat here. So we ordered our food and waited. others came in and ordered and got their food pretty fast. ours seemed to be sitting outside because when we got our food, it was really cold. it is not really worth coming here. very disappointed in the food lack of taste much cartilage in bark. the fried garnelenbatter was not thoroughly cooked. the spam masubi I seemed a little discolored so I didn't eat it. also not really cleaned. Overall, we had this experience disappointed, it was missing and was fundamental. they save their money. *UPDATE I had all the night food poisoning they eat their own risk"

"Me and my girlfriend called for a take out order and once we were done they told us 15 min wait. Once we got there we told them we were there to pay and pickup our food but they said they had no record of us calling when it was their phone number and everything so we have no clue how that happened. "I am not sure how you mess up white rice, but it was actually bad. Ordered Chicken Katsu, and it didn't even come with the Katsu sauce, so I was stuck eating dry katsu. The chicken katsu was decent, although it was really chewy. First time I ever had to write a review, very unhappy."

"It feels petty to rate a restaurant low for a missing item. I ordered chicken katsu with steamed rice. So far the food is great. It looks like it was cooked with a high standard for quality. All of this is great, except for one thing. I didnt receive any sauce. Its worth a three star rating because Ono has essentially served me orange chicken with no orange sauce. Id be understanding if they were out and communicated that to me before I received a box full of chicken tenders lol"

"All of it was awful. Overcooked Chicken Katsu Mini Meal so it was all dried out. Beef was too chewy, and Crab Rangoon (6 pcs) was greasy and had zero flavor other than grease. The macaroni salad is packed with the meat and it was hot. Yuck. Lastly, the A/C was out in the restaurant and all the employees were drenced in sweat. It was 108 today! Close the restaurant if your A/C is broken! Poor employees!"

"I really do not want to leave this review but I am so fed up. I have ordered here probably 30 times over the years and the food is always good. But my issue is four times in a row I have ordered your chicken bowl and asked for no veggies via doordash. And every single time it comes with veggies. I have made it crystal clear that me and my son are allergic to broccoli and yet it seems that you staff cannot follow directions given on the order. How hard is it? Really to read the order and complete it as asked? So here once again I have wasted my money trying to support a local business who continues to fail at the very basic level of customer service. I will not be back. Cleary it is more important to rush and order out the door vs take the time to make sure someone with an allergy or restriction gets what they order. Absolutely ridiculous."
