"I’m so glad we wound up stopping here because the other place we were going to was closed. I love oldschool diners, especially the outdated roadside Americana ones with steel exteriors…. But they almost never have anything vegan. This place has an entirely separate vegan menu, where just about every diner classic is accounted for. "I had a fabulous experience at this restaurant. It is one of the best diners in the NJ area with quick service being the key. They have everything you can imagine on their menu! I ordered the Bagel lox sandwich and it was delicious - with fresh and generous salmon slices, Greek kamalta olives, capers, cream cheese, all on fresh sliced bagel. There was so much food that I had to take half home for lunch. The omelette was perfect, with hash browns, rye toast, and crispy bacon. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. They also offer a selection of drinks if you choose to indulge for lunch or dinner. The restaurant was crowded, but it's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction."

"A perfect pre-theater, family-friendly meal. Our ten-year-old loves the food we can’t leave NY without eating here. She loves the Mac ‘n Cheese any BBQ. My husband I have perfected the combo platter with trash ribs, collard greens, mac ‘n cheese cornbread (the “single” meal is plenty for two). Add a chopped salad with house dressing (also big enough for two) you’ll be very happy! Ask for upstairs seating for the best atmosphere and DEFINITELY make reservations for dinner. The service was fine, before evening shows they’re absolutely slammed and the staff did their best. A great place!"

"eating was good, not great, but definitiw the price worth. I ordered togo and honestly, it won't do again, because it would have been much better if I had eaten it fresh. the burgers are nice big, good taste, but my was a bit dry, I'm gonna criticize how long it says in the window before I finally had to ask if it was my order. the chili was spicy, but they could taste more tomato than anything else. the biggest interruption of this caffe is the waiting personal, very attentive, especially when they say it is to go. I understand that they may not type or big tips off togo, but they are in a truck stop and I'm sure this is a big part of their business."
