I also work in the food industry and I know that holidays are particularly stressful. You do a lot at once and deal with many annoying customers who could care less openly as your day goes, but this is absolutely no excuse to take your frustration on your colleagues. You're all stressed enough. It is worth a lot more to just stand for a moment, close your eyes and take a good deep breath to cool off. I could be less careful that Sir J (I will not specifically say his name) was thrown out of my order before me, a customer. That's whatever. But the pain in all other eyes around you at this moment spoke volumes. I wouldn't let my team feel this pressure on a busy day. Anyway, decent food blah blah blah.
