"My wife and I were looking for something new and decided to take a quick trip over to Independence to give Silk Thai Cuisine a try. We both looked over the menu prior to going and noted several dishes that interested us.I landed on the Crispy Duck Curry. The flavor was amazing with the right amount of heat from the spice. The duck was tender with crispy skin. The portion size was great with a perfect ratio of meat to veggies.My wife had the Cashew Nuts with chicken which she really enjoyed. Again, the portions were generous.We look forward to going back and trying some other dishes soon. Sorry, forgot to get pictures as each of our meals looked delicious and we couldn't wait to dive in."

"I have been looking for a decent, authentic Thai restaurant and decided to give Thai Elephant Bistro a try. We had the Thai tea, Pad Thai, and tried a curry. All were delicious and reasonably priced.We came in on a Monday night and had a great time. Service was quick and efficient, even with only one individual working the entire front of house. The ambiance was casual, so I'd recommend for a quick dinner as opposed to a special occasion destination. We will definitely be back!"

"I don 't like leaving bad reviews but this second time coming here and was hoping it would 've been a better experience than before. But no sadly. Took about 10mins for them to finally pay any attention to me even after calling out to them. Then another10mins watching them walk past me/standing by the register and having to raise my voice to finally place my order even having toask for my drink again after waiting about 5mins.(There were only about 3 other tables at the time) Timing my lunch since I onlyhave an hour. 15 or do mins to finally get what to me is not worth $19 for lunch special with some very tasteless food withMSG being the most prominent flavor and beef that was basically burnt where all you can taste is that char. Not once asked for arefill of drink either. They seem like nice ladies but, for both experiences: Service Terrible Food Edible Spice Level 1 5 Non existent no matter the level Would not recommend I feel this is a very Americanized establishment and this is more forthose who don 't know the real thing. Was thinking since they were only a 4 min drive I 'd have plenty of time to eat and make itback to work with in an hour like other restaurants. I love Thai food, I grew up eating Thai food always trying find any newplaces that have that authentic feel and taste but this wasn 't it. Long tangent. But to each their own."

"This is where you go for thai food.Generous amount of meat, cooked perfectly, tenderness overload.Pad Thai is made in my preferred style and love the texture of the noodles.This place judges levels of spicyness not on a traditional thai scale, more of a courteous scale. .. I needed a reception for our meal, but they can't even make a lmao available. the casser said the CC transaction is all they can offer (how I can use this to be refunded)? they also made a mistake with our order and bill. you do not taste like thai above all her honiger spas, it was very different. if they are all for business trips, etc. and do not need to dinate one or more definitiw here, as they do not give them any. eating also does not taste like authentic thai. they also do not take certain cards and they also act for tipp lol"

"Chicken Pad Thai and Pork Pad See Ew were both good. Arrived hot. Got level 2 spice for the Pad See Ew and that was plenty hot for me. Wasnt able to request for no vegetables but that could be an issue on the DD app. Taro Milk Teas were great but didnt come with boba like shown in their pictures. Probably didnt need to order mine extra sweet, but still enjoyed it. Overall Id order from here again if the Thai restaurant near me is closed."
