"I'll be honest, Westchester is pretty weak when it comes to the NY pizza game. Outside of a certain legendary place in Mount Vernon, pizza in the neighborhood is average, at best. That being said, I am very happily surprised by this pizza, which I find to be an excellent representation of the quintessential NY-style pizza. The dough is a good mix of chewy and crispy, without being tough, and the crust has a nice crunch to it. I also love when a place knows to leave the crust minimal, putting the sauce and cheese almost to the edge. The dough has good flavor to it and the right amount of dry flour on the edges for extra goodness. The sauce and cheese are very flavorful, without being overpowering, and the pizza is cooked correctly, with minimal charring and good color. I prefer a more well done pizza with lots of charring, but I like to see how they would usually do it first and this is done correctly. Too many other places undercook their pizzas, but not here. I definitely want to point out that the pizza I received was very appealing. I can tell they made a point to make it look nice and symmetrical. I really appreciate that, because a lot of places slop together an oblong and uneven pizza with no attention to detail or balance of taste. It's a nice touch. It's not a great pic, because I already ate half, unfortunately. If I had to nitpick: there could be a little less sauce and cheese, and the pizza could be a little thinner. It is quite a substantial slice and may be just a bit too heavy. All in all, this is a really excellent pizza, even for NY, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. I hope the consistency matches this first impression. I love that their on Slice and the employees were nice. I'd definitely go back. Portnoy would probably say it's a great football pie and give it a 7.9."

"Came here to have a nice time with my girls. I would say an average place. Nothing special at all. Waiter kept rushing us to order. We were there just after 10. Anyways, food came after a 10 min wait, I would say. It was not all that extraordinary. Just some average food I would say. The pancakes were very dry. No flavor. Have to give a slobber of syrup to have some flavor and making it unhealthy. Waffle was also crusty and dry. The butter or whatever on the top was yuck. Felt like having some ultra processed fat. Eggs was good and filling. Had a lot of veggies. Did not want the side then took some fruits. Seasonal crepes were tiny compared to other crepe places. But the price was way too much- Nutella and banana and strawberries cost $9.99. Ridiculous! The egg cost $14.29 !!! Atmosphere is ok. The guy in the grey tshirt maybe the manager works very hard to keep the place clean. Everything was clean and dry. Floor was clean too. Service was ok. With such a price menu you would expect to have your bill given nicely in a clip board at least. They just give the receipt in your hand and lurk around to see if we give any tips !!!Vegetarian options: Not much vegetarian options but if you tell the waiter they will leave the meat out.Kid-friendliness: Have a few option for kids.Parking: Ample parking opportunity. Free.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair friends and special need friends."

"This is the first food review I 've ever written. The person working behind the counter was very nice. That being said, this is one of the worst eating experiences I 've ever had. Walk in looking for a meatless option and was EXTREMELY limited. I was hoping for some cool plant based proteins.... NopeWent with the generic black bean burger no drink with a side of sweet potato fries for $10+. A little steep for something I could make at home for less than $4 dollars but I 'm assuming it 's going to be way better. This was not a fast food option. Waited 15 minutes. Was informed there was no indoor dining. Got the food out the door finally and was severely disappointed.Fries looked like microwaved carrot slices and didn 't taste far off. Limp and slimy (yum). Bun was low quality whole wheat (more like colored cheap white bun), no actual whole grains. Lettuce was shredded bagged variety. Cheese was cheap american single slice. Black bean burger was lower quality than the frozen varieties you can buy at the store, also microwaved in texture.Again, I could have made this for less than 4 dollars at home and frequently do with quality ingredients. And I don 't use a microwave. If you can 't cook for whatever reason and are looking for someone to portion out your meals and aren 't worried about quality or price, this is the place.I could have made this at home cheaper, better, and faster. Honestly, this reminded me of grade school cafeteria food.Vegetarian options: Extremely limited and very disappointing."
