"The bartender and main act of the evening (Wednesday stand up comedy) was Hope a high energy extraordinary and lovely person however there was literally one person (Hope) providing all the “service”’and I waited forever for drinks and to order food and pay my bill, without a drink. The food was very good and I would have truly enjoyed this place except for the clear lack of service capacity and it’s just not acceptable. Ever. Period. I won’t go back or if I do before I sit down I will check out the service capacity. There is no point sitting at a bar where you can’t get service or leave when ready. I seriously considered walking out on my tab."

"My favorite restaurant in the Hood River/White Salmon area. Classical yet cozy/rustic atmosphere, best waiting staff (Thank you Jen!!! , beautiful special drinks tapas (Pork polenta, cauliflower, butternut quesh with hazelnuts and Gorgonzola cheese sweet chili sauce covered chicken kere that made for a DELIC dinner. I can't expect to return to this jewel to bring family friends with me!!!!!!!!!"

"Food was excellent. Steak and escargot had to die. It is a little expensive, but it matched the quality of the meal. Only complaint was the ambience. Why was the lighting so bright? Very surprising for a late dinner seat. Would definitely go back, but not for a romantic night out."

"We came into town for a wedding and it was late. I ordered over the phone 30 mins before close. They gladly took my order. Food was ready when we got to town. Went back to hotel and it was absolutely phenomenal!! The Maui burger was excellent! Fries were perfectly seasoned. Chimichanga loaded fries were unbelievable. Also ordered the Bacon Blue Dog, once again zero complaints. This will be one of our go to restaurants ANY time we pass through town. Highly recommend!"
