"We had not eaten here since the before times, and it was so comforting to see that this place is still a charming space with excellent food (even for this non red meat eater . The poulet vert is fantastic as were the brussel sprouts with Moroccan spices and lemon absolutely delicious . We wanted my beloved dessert of the Vacherin (the main reason I come to this place and why I came to the restaurant that was here before it! , but they were out. We will have to plan a next time to revisit that exquisite dessert."

"I dined here previously under the former ownership. It's still cute and kitchy inside, but the menu is paired down significantly and things don't run as smoothly in my opinion. I thought about dining here for breakfast but nothing appealed to me but the BEC and I couldn't justify nearly $10 for a BEC even with good ingredients. I did dine at lunch and got the power bowl. It was tasty but the kitchen left the crostini off, I didn't bother to say anything. The portion was ample, but I recall it being larger. Service was ok, I waited for 10 minutes after I was done eating to get my check. I never got a refill either. Would I recommend this place? Yes, it's really the only place in Hartsville with a decent lunch. Is there room for improvement? Yes."

"I was back here a few weeks and the ribs had great taste, but were slightly dry. Could also cook a tad more sauce on them, but this is just personal preference. The baked potato was "loaded" without acid cream, but also without butter, so was also dry. Mac N Cheese was phenomenal, like the waitress. Attention to people not from the area: the water here is very chlorinated. It made the drinks taste terrible."

"The maize bread is probably one of the favorites of the Fam and the butter that accompanies it is also good. The brussels sprouts are hit or dependent on the cook, we had them perfectly cooked and we had cooked them over (they roast them here) The meals of the child are a decent size for the price of turkey w/side of broccoli is one of the favorite of the child, they love it with dessert. The Rob Deluxe Plate is enough for 2 when you control your meals in portions. The beans are fine, very tomatoes for my pleasure, the taste and part of the collar were not worth the upgrade charge tbh. The peach cbbler was extremely sweet and a good part size."

"Realizing this is a newly opened enterprise, we have given it the benefit of the doubt. The reservation process needs improvement. We had reservations for 4 at 7:00 on a Friday night. We found a parking spot 3 blocks away and arrived at 6:55. We were finally seated at 8:00. Our server arrived at 8:10, and our drinks arrived at 8:20. We received our meals about 8:50, which, was well worth the wait. The two bartenders were overwhelmed, and it took 15 minutes to order a glass of wine. Looking forward to returning, once the growing pains are worked out."

"Who is the favorite in the family? Me! At least for now... I couldn't have pulled it off without the assistance of a delicious pumpkin and pecan pie for Thanksgiving. I probably would have secured the title if I had also gotten the apple pie that was suggested to me. Oh well, there's always Christmas. On another note, their crispy chocolate chip cookies pair perfectly with a glass of warm milk. And their rich, chocolaty brownies are unbelievably good - they are topped with frosting, but honestly, they are perfect just the way they are."
