"When we got there, there was only one other group of diners present. We were greeted right away and offered menus once sat. The dinner menu was substantial. It offered more ordinary fare like burgers and sandwiches. Since we were there to celebrate Father's Day, we ordered from the dinner entree list. The appetizers were good. The bananas foster dessert was, as well, but our entrees were disappointing. My Delmonico steak, which i requested to be prepared medium rare, was overcooked and served medium well instead. My daughter's fettuccine, so far from al dente that they broke up into a sticky glob. The loch salmon looked very good, was flaky, and had a nice sear on the bottom, but extremely underseasoned. The sides were good, and plating was attractive as well. There was also a mishap with paying our bill. Our unfortunate server accidentally charged against our hotel room that we didn't have since we were not guests of the hotel. I didn't catch this until I saw her running after us on our way to our car. She insisted that I take the credit card receipt with me instead. I showed her the receipt I took, which was exactly like the room charge one she originally presented me. So, the error was not on my end. Needless to say. I had to walk back to the restaurant, the manager had to get involved, and my credit card was charged correctly. I am mobility impaired, so this took quite a bit of effort for me. The night was memorable indeed, but for the wrong reasons. My recommendation is that if anyone is inclined to try this place out, dine outside in the patio. It is lovely out there"

"Aloha is a pleasure to work with. I have seen Aloha Seafood refrigerated trucks at restaurants. They are now delivering to residences. If you like great seafood consider giving them a call. We regularly get Ahi grade 1 sashimi and have never been disappointed. The other night we had Manila clams. All were good and we were surprised there were no dead clams. Our driver told me they check for freshness before leaving the dock. Finally, they have Dungeness crab. For those that don't know, our crab season has been delayed since November due to price negations between fishermen and large wholesale processing plants. The pricing issue is simple. The processors have a glut of last year's crab due to Covid which caused restaurants to shut down. Aloha sells live and cooked crab. Their crab is cooked by a neighbor on the wharf. We had a cooked crab tonight that was fantastic. AlohaSeafood knows that residential chefs don't know their trade lingo and patiently explain the lingo and can give you answers to questions. We have had a myriad of other items including Alaskan black cod and smoked Salmon. AlohaSeafood is small enough they take pride on what they sell. They refuse to sell sub-standard product even when it means they won't have a product. Delivery is fantastic. Where can you order fish in the evening and have it before 1PM the following day. Fish is delivered in refrigerated vans. Aloha is large enough to give you a very competitive delivery and price structure. AlohaSeafood has also partnered with a local wholesaler that sells Produce boxes. We regularly get the organic box. I recommend giving AlohaSeafood a call."

"Saturday HH with friends. This was my first visit to this STH location. There were a lot of guests there so the staff was busy. The hosts were masked as were the majority of the servers I saw. We did have to ask for a server after being seated for about 5 minutes. After one server change we had Brayden (sp.? for the rest of the evening. I’m glad we ended up with him because the previous server told us they were out of the syrup for the prickly pear Margarita but Brayden double checked and they had it. Brayden was patient with us and gave great recommendations. I decided to try all new food items (except the truffle fries lol from the HH menu. Everything was delicious. I loved the spicy Thai shrimp and the sliders and succotash so much I order it again. The succotash was different from traditional succotash I’m used to eating in that it had black eyed peas and bacon in it. However, the flavors complemented each other well. The green beans with the spicy Thai shrimp and the crunchy noodles on top were amazing. Everyone else loved their food also: the salmon was moist and great with the lemon butter, the crab stuffed shrimp was made perfect, and everyone enjoyed their prickly pear Margaritas. The only cons were that the restaurant doesn’t have a blender for frozen drinks (one of my friend’s wanted the HH daiquiri but passed because it wasn’t frozen and the red sangria and mojito tasted a bit like juice. I’m glad I stopped by this location so I can know to visit when I’m in the area."
