"Palmfries appetizer, well, let's just say we have a proverb in my family and it's that if you drown a dish in the sauce, it's a good hint at 1. Lazy Koch and/or 2. A bad quality court. Fries were very soggy and inconspicuous, but the sauce had a good taste, would simply be much better on the side. I ordered the salad with pistachios, beet and goat cheese as a duck, but it was the size of a meek-side salad (at $11 would expect more) and the salad was warm, soft and wild. A total of four tiny, diceed beetles sat down. I stopped and took grilled nuggets from a fast food joint on my way home as my duck. My friend had the pork sandwich and said it wasn't good at all. The potato salad that came with his meal was very good! Many of the batteries were on the hanging lights, which distracted from the beautiful display and removed from the ambience. The staff was very friendly and professional. Host was absolutely precious and dressed to kill. Our server seemed overwhelmed, but she did a great job. The young man who brought the courts out had a hard time knowing where they belong, but finally found out. Short staff, maybe? I cannot recommend this place to others and will not be back, but the staff for the low quality foods so that we still had a good time. Loved the stands and chairs, seemed like a 90s vibe. The last time we're dining at Mary Eddy's, the food was very bad, but we'll give it absolutely another shot when the remodel is over as a pre-pandemic, it was one of my favorite places in the city. We dropped at 8:00 on a Saturday if that helps."
