"I had never known the true meaning of life until I had walked into Pluckers. I remember the day like the back of my hand. My pastor had just told me that I was going to hell. I couldn 't believe it. After years of Vacation Bible School and and years of mission work in Haiti, I still hadn 't proved myself. And now Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson says that I 'm never going to find God. I didn 't know what to do with myself. I didn 't know who to turn to. As I walked past the saloon, I saw a newspaper clipping drifting by like the afternoon tumbleweed. I ran over as fast as I could and picked it up. It was an ad for Plucker 's. What else could I do but sit down and have some wings to eat. When I walked in, the piano saloon player stopped his tunes and everyone stared at me. I didn 't know what else to do but to sit down and order some wings. When I got them, I took one bite and I swear the heavens opened up and I saw the pearly gates. Then I understood. Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson. The newspaper in the wind. The ad for Pluckers. It was all coming together. Jeremiah 29:11 says, 'For I know the plans I have for you, ' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future ', and his plan was coming into fruition. I didn 't need Pastor Ronald Donald Thompson to guide me after all. Because I found God in these wings."

"Recently, my friend and I visited Pluckers Wing Bar on Research Boulevard for Monday night football. It was packed at 6 o'clock and by the time we left, all bar seats for the game were full. I had a voucher for 5 free wings that I had won at a University of Texas basketball game. To use the voucher, we had to order at least $2 of extra food, which was easy to do given the variety of menu options. My friend ordered the teriyaki BBQ wings with waffle fries, and I had the buffalo hot wings with tattoo sauce. I love the intense heat of the buffalo hot sauce; it really sets my taste buds on fire, which I enjoy. The wings were hot, juicy, and crispy - the perfect combination for a chicken wing. Pluckers is definitely my favorite wing spot in Austin, though I prefer the locations on South Lamar or in West Campus."

"Used to be a huge pluckers fan, but the wait times have gotten unbearable, which really brings down the whole experience, the wait times are often over an hour, and once you get inside, it doesn’t get much better. I literally watched a party of 5 sweet talk their way ahead of the line. I’ve given the Grapevine, Alliance, and Arlington locations a “second chance”, but I refuse to wait two hours for chicken tenders. The food is always cold and it takes 45mins to an hour to fry up chicken. Glad they are popular and busy, but disappointed that my favorite wing place is no longer what it was. Thanks for the experiences, but I won’t be returning."

"We had called to place an order as we were leaving Nebraska Furniture Mart towards home. The girl who answered the phone stated I needed to use the App to place an order. I told her I was driving and could not use the App as I was talking to her and could just place my order as humans talking to humans. She could not grasp that concept. So I hung up and called Buffalo Wild Wings who took my order over the phone like a human being. I then called the Pluckers store the next day to tell my story. They were going to send a card to make up for the issue. Never got the card. It's to bad because I love the Pluckers Wing product, but their customer care skills really are lacking. UPDATE. I sent an email to dwhite and still heard nothing. At least you guys are consistent. UPDATE: Spoke with Jessica who was very nice about the issue. Got my gift card and will give them another try."

"Went there for lunch today. Ordered 15 traditional wings with buffalo sauce. When delivered there were 3 drums and 12 flats. I mentioned it to the waitress who told me that it is all random and you get what you get. I prefer drums and still enjoy the flats. But 12 flats is a bit much. 8 flats and 7 drums, fine. Even 10 and 5, I guess fine. But this was not acceptable. Note that the food is good. The flavor was fine. It was served timely. But if I point out the mix of flats and drums is off, please just fix it."

"I've visited this location many times, but I haven't written a review until now. Be sure to allow some extra time, as it can get quite busy and you might have to wait for a table. I can confidently say that their service and food quality are consistently excellent. The portion sizes are generous enough for most people, and there is a wide variety of sauces to choose from. If you haven't signed up for their rewards program, I highly recommend doing so to take advantage of some great deals. I look forward to returning soon!"

"So me and my wife and daughter show up and they tell us it’s a 30 minute wait and I said go out and put our names down but I had looked around all over as they were gathering my information for the waiting list and there was five tables open and so I inquired about that. The lady at Front said those are for people that are not here they had called him before so me and my wife and daughter stay near the door and patiently waited and two out of the five tables no one was sitting out for 12 minutes and yet here we stand waiting. So I wasn’t happy about they were not organized whatsoever with their seating and then we get our food and it’s less than lukewarm which we had wings and fries and both me and my wife’s, wings and fries again were less than lukewarm. I will say the manager took off $10 so that was nice of them but either way the service was terrible. We just ordered two waters and a lemonade and it took them eight minutes to bring it to the table. Misty mentioned the waiter had two people that were in training, watching all of this go down."

"Delicious as always. Wait time is always crazy. Prices have definitely gone up. Don't understand why only one small dip for the same 5, 10 or 15 wing combos? U have to pay extra every time when u get one with 5 wings? Extra charge here and there. Polite servers just depends on the night. Overall 4 stars because food is still good."

"I love pluckers! its one of favorite cheat meals! The only issues ive experienced is missing sauces/ranches, or missing wings. Tonight Im missing all Side of Signature Sauce (2) and mussing 2 out of 10 wings. Other than than that, I really love their wings and sauce flavors! The fried picks are great too!"

"Pluckers was a treat! We stopped on a Saturday night and dang, it was full. There was a 20-minute waiting time. But after that we sat and served a little fast. The wings and buffalo bites were what we ordered, and on their own were good, but there is a wide selection of sauces to choose from, so our taste buds definitely take care of. Because of the sheer number of sauces there is something for everyone to have and enjoy. Regarding the atmosphere, there are TVs with live sports games in any case, so there is never a boring moment between the conversation. All in all, Pluckers Stafford is a great restaurant and I'll be back soon!"
