"Overall a lovely spot nestled in the Bay View neighborhood. Recent renovations will be great when finished. In to the food. Menu was nice and salad great, soup of the day was excellent- cheese soup with Founder IPA. My wife ordered the almond crusted Walleye and said it was outstanding. Large abundant portions and overall she rated it excellent as well as the curried carrot salad. I had the ribeye. House cut it was a bit thin but ample. I ordered it medium rare and it came cooked to temp but no “crust” so to speak and little to no seasoning so it presented “bland”. It was a house cut steak so maybe 1/2” thick and ample in size- I didn't finish it. Broccoli had an oil after taste I found displeasing. We are on the terrace which was beautiful and serene. Service was good but when the restaurant got busy we lost a little as our waitress did not return to the table to check on us. The wrong check was sent when she did come back and we wanted to order another round of drinks for dessert but our waitress never asked and moved away quickly with the rush. The waffle bowl sundae was excellent but the way. So overall I would give the Resturant a B on food and service and A on ambiance and place. Server was super nice but she just got overwhelmed and that happens sometimes. The 3 course prix fixe menu we choose was nice. If you haven't been try it- you won't be disappointed. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing in the steak."
