"Chris and I sat at the bar with Rod. Service was okay, not really any sense of urgency or personable. I might be picky but if I sit at the bar I love when bartenders are energetic and fake talk to us. But when they are soft spoken and don't try, it makes the expectation hard to enjoy. We will be back for the food and beer. "The server was exceptional. Anytime you go to a restaurant and the server is more excited to serve you, you're in for a treat. The server was very entertaining and communicated all of the possible shortcomings up front. He mentioned they were out of straws and then somehow found some. He made us laugh with his quick wit and professionalism. He was on top of his game. I ordered the Cajun voodoo magic flavored chicken wings and was not disappointed. I love the way you use your phone to access the menu. I can't wait to go back."

"Great low key atmosphere with fabulous drinks! Popped in for a couple of nightcaps this evening and was pleasantly surprised. Dark mood setting interior design, feature glass onto brick arrangement for the bar and excellent cocktails!!! I also had the chocolate mouse which was top notch. The bar is a little low key from the outside I included a picture of the signage board in my photos) so keep an eye out for it. Definitely worth checking out if your in the area!!!"

"I hate to give 2 stars, but the service was so slow! To get a table forever, though many were open and there were only 2 adults and a child. Service was so slow I had forgotten that we had not even ordered and I had my 3 years old with me. The waitress at the end of our meal took my money and instead of asking if I needed change, she tried to keep my change. I never tip when the service was good, but to ask for things several times, for refills and only slow service around not earning a tip and they should never assume that someone's change is to keep them! I hope this was just a bad night for this restaurant because her food is always good."

"I visited on Super Bowl Sunday. Danny was my server and did a great job at keeping a fresh beer on my table even though she was very busy! The Manager, Keith checked on us and made sure I got everything with my To Go order. Thanks to both for such a great experience! Also the hostess, Jace greeted us with a great smile!"

"Great food and atmosphere. My husband raved about this place as a bar but it is so much more. The Fennec recently acquired a new Chef and he did not disappoint. We stopped in on a Saturday night and were seated in the Fox Hole Lounge which afforded us the opportunity to hear the live music, pretty good BTW, yet have a conversation. The food was delicious! My husband loved the wings and peppers, I really enjoyed the Winner, Winner chicken dish. Service was great and atmosphere had an old vibe yet was modern in a way.We have been in Birmingham, AL for almost two years and this is was by far the best dining experience we have had. We were so pleased we stopped in for brunch the next day. The **** Mary, made with Beckly’s Pickle Vodka (Beckley is a friendly woman who works at the Fennec and who partnered with Redmont Vodka to make a delicious Pickle Vodka was so delicious.I have food allergies but the server and kitchen were great and easily accommodated my needs. (Thank you It is a week later and I am still looking forward to my next visit."

"We had a reservation. Was seated promptly. The place was packed before Red Wings game. Food came in a timely manner. Service was good . Food was tasty and hot. The server made a mistake and gave me a side of fries when I ordered onion rings. She quickly corrected the error and let me keep the fries. Both the rings and fries were excellent and hot the spot. The BBQ Smokehouse burger was very good."
