"I love this place for barbeque. Being from Detroit I was so happy to see this one pop up in Grand Rapids. Food is excellent and plentiful. Our service this time was not as good as other visits but still ok. Great place to eat well and have some fun in downtown GR."

"1st time to Slows and it was very good. I love southern BBQ and it is hard to find a place here in Michigan that is comparable. We had great service John Michael Lee G. who was our server and he was fun! Especially loved the pulled pork, the beans and the sweet potato mash. Green beans were good but not very southern. I would come back and recommend to others."

"Ive ordered the Yard Bird several times (in the restaurant AND through door dash) and this came to me essentially as a bbq chicken sandwich with mushrooms and bacon. EXTREMELY disappointed! Worst slows bbq experience ever."
