"Down One Bourbon Bar is a fun atmosphere with great drinks and food. We were there on a special night where we got to celebrate Black History Month with a beautiful tribute to Uncle Nearest Bourbon. My husband says this is the place with the Best Old Fashioned in town"

"Pros: The service was fantastic! Large wings and design beer. Cool old building. Great views of the city. Probably a lot of fun if there were live music. Beautiful French bakery right next door. (for Dessert : Negative: There was no live music/dj as indicated on their website at the time of our visit, which is why we went. Skip the menu. The food was just okay. There are also many steps that might be a problem for some."

"Sent an email to request a reservation for 6PM (party of 3) on a Monday night for my mother’s 80th birthday. At 5PM I still hadn’t received a response so I phoned the restaurant to inquire again. Was rudely bounced around and finally told there was availability at 5:30 and 6:30 PM at the bar or patio only. Due to windy cool weather I declined the patio and decided against the bar before calling another local restaurant who warmly welcomed us. At 6:20 PM the general manager of Baroncini sent an email wanting to know if I’d like to call them to dine after 8:30PM without any apology for the late response. Ciao!"

"I visited this restaurant during the low season in July. I was a bit concerned that the decrease in hotel guests would lead to a reduction in the quality of food and service, but I was pleasantly surprised. This hidden gem clearly has excellent management and maintains a high standard of excellence."
