"It 's not easy to get less than three stars from me. And the only reason Johnnys did not get 1 stars was because 1. I remember how good their pizza used to be and 2. The staff was very nice. My family has a house right across the street so I remember coming here when they first opened and it being so clutch. Fast forward 10 years, i now live in Brooklyn, NY so I know what authentic NY style pizza is. One of the most signature characteristics of a NY slice, is when you fold it at the crust, it keeps in shape up, doesn 't fall, and only the tip slightly hangs (maybe a little oil from the pepperoni drips : . This pizza could be nothing further, and should remove NY Style from their name. I ordered a pie half cheese, half veggie. The pizza crust was so thick, they laid so much cheese that it had the consistency of a rubbery layer with half cooked toppings. It was such a heavy and sloppy pizza. I 'm not sure what happened to this place. It felt like the owners were closer to the product when it first opened, and now there 's a glaringly clear lack of training on how to properly make a NY style pie. I could 've went to Little Caesars and got a better version of the rest of America style pizza Johnny 's now serves."
