"Waitress was great and personal. Ordered the lunch brisket taco special, highly recommended, and the waitress hooked us up with a mix of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a scoop of sourcream to kick it to beyond amazing. Did I mention the $3.99 lunch margaritas? Gotta be careful if you have to drive home since these are great as well. Will be going back."

"I'm here every Tuesday for a business lunch and the waiting staff are GREAT! Letty, the waitress who takes care of us is absolutely amusing! She knows exactly what I want (sweet tea and hot chips with one side of freshly cut limes) and has it ready when I go in the door. She sees where I sit and has already delivered my usual, custom-off-the-menu, order (complete with guacamole, black beans and fresh jalapenos) already in and with in a few minutes. She is more attentive and ensures that my experience is the best she can do as any 5-star restaurant where I've dined! I visit business meetings in restaurants at least five times a week via the Metro-plex and I rarely order because of the frequency I am in these meetings in restaurants. Letty should really own this place because it is the reason why I save my appetite and breakfast on Tuesday and make it a point for lunch here every Tuesday. Thank you, Letty (and El Chico) for a great culinary experience every Tuesday."

"The place has always been good. We got the 2 for 22 and the food was good. The chicken jalapeño poppers weren’t hot but good flavor, the entree was good, but the brownie dessert was a bit dry and (maybe) too many nuts for me…. But over all good and worth it. We got 2 margaritas and it seems the 2nd one didn’t have much alcohol in it. But they were good none the less."

"I’m not surprised at how poor the service is. I’ve been here multiple times hoping it gets better, but leave disappointed. The hostess was solemn and rude, the waitress was timid and clueless. The manager came by but failed to inquire about the food. The rice is just barely cooked, the potions are minuscule compared to the price. The tortillas are garbage. The meat I assume has no flavor because it’s hiddrn under an overly powerful sauce. Cheese, what cheese? The only thing i enjoyed were the chips. This is a growing trend here In Lawton. Poor service matched with careless staff that put quantity over quality. There’s no pride in their work anymore. No wonder so many businesses go under."

"I eat here every time I come to Ardmore. I'm driving a truck and I'm not always gonna eat in a nice restaurant. The service has always been on site, the food is always hot and tasty, and the price is better than most sitting chain restaurants. I would recommend El Chicos to anyone who enjoys authentic Tex sex food."
