"My wife and I were sitting by the pool one day, and our neighbour asked us if we ever had a calzone of Flancer. We were pretty new to Mesa and hadn't heard of Flancers, but when we visited, she was right. The Calzone is amazing. We also learned later that they make their own bread in the house, and if you have one of their sandwiches, you will know that it is fresh. I'm really hungry as I type. Since then we have become racist fans and have visited both the Mesa and Gilbert locations. My favorite attizer is the goat cheese bruschetta and a short second is the prickly pear wing. For the main course my wife loves the Chile Verde Birdie Turkey Sandwich and I enjoyed the Filet Mignon Sandwich. I don't think you'll find something on the menu that's not good: Of course I'm trying to stay away from candy, but I had the Cobbler once (Aala mode... let's just say I wish I could satisfy this sweet tooth more often."
