"IMPORTANT: THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT PART OF THE KOPAN SUSHI RAMEN CHAIN, but an independent restaurant. I made this mistake myself, which affected my initial impression and that of many others who left reviews expecting this to be a part of the chain. Here is my review without those expectations. We ordered the shoyu ramen and chicken karaage (which may no longer be on the menu). The ramen was okay, but the charsui was overcooked and the chicken karaage was overly battered for my taste. The space is very nice and across from the Paseo Mall on Colorado. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was sparsely filled and severely understaffed with what appeared to be the owner in front and a single cook in the back, who appeared to be new given the conversation with the owner.Seems like a decent place to eat on weekdays if you work in the area, but I would not suggest it as a casual ramen place due the higher prices. There was a novel robot server, which was newly implemented at the time, but the owner was still learning how to use it, so it slowed down service. I can see the practicality of the robot, but my feedback to the restaurant would be to invest in the kitchen staff and ingredients."
