"Small, cozy and cozy with a very friendly staff and fast service. I went on a rainy Sunday and was a little intimidated by the long line of people waiting outside, but it turns out that they had a terrace with covered tables (and a heating) and we sat in about 5 minutes. Valet is extremely helpful in this part of the city. The crowd is your usual Los Feliz Hipsters – fun to observe people. The food is traditional American comfort food. They bake their scones and muffins fresh every day and also have different special flavors every day. We had the Gruyer and the Speckschon and the Cherry and Lemon Sweat; both were great. Capuccino was a little on the bitter side, but the tea was good. Have a page of bacon – it is thick and probably the best bacon I found in LA. I recommend this place and especially on a rainy Sunday – skip the wait by bringing a jacket and asking to sit outside. I just went to brunch, but I heard the lunch and dinner menus are just as good."
