"I have been looking forward to trying this pizza place for a few months. We finally got there on a Friday night for a 6:30 reservation. First impression was it's a super cute pizza place with a fun vibe. Everyone at the door seemed very friendly and happy to be there. We were seated immediately at a table right by the bar kind of in the middle of the restaurant. Overall, not a bad place to sit but the lighting was awful. It felt like we were in an interrogation. The lighting needs to be dimmed quite a bit for better ambience. We ordered house made chips for an appetizer which after taking about 25 minutes to get, tasted good. For some reason we were only given a half order (no explanation why and we were not charged for them. The cheese sauce served with it, however, was funky, I wouldn't order that again. We ordered a Carmine Lonnardo thin crust pizza for dinner. The sausage was fantastic! The pizza was ok. The very outer crust was crispy; however, the rest had a soggy shortbread consistency. Our server was friendly however not very attentive, so we did not tell her about the pizza. We ended up boxing it up and taking home. I think this place has a lot of potential if they can work out some of these kinks. One perk was their drink specials. I could see this easily becoming your neighborhood pizza place! Everyone was extremely friendly when we were leaving. I later found out that's because the owners were there that night. ; Hopefully that is the standard!"
