"After reading a lot of the negative reviews of this place, I’ve been avoiding it like the plague. So when the time came that I actually found myself at the Double T diner for breakfast, I have to admit I was downright scared. But I was also very hungry. I was skipping my go-to choice, First Watch, because there was a crowd waiting there, and I hate waiting in line, especially for breakfast. First Watch Laurel has become, in my opinion, a victim of its own success. In the words of the late Yogi Berra, nobody goes there anymore — It’s too crowded. So that’s how I found myself at a table at the double T diner: hungry, and nervous.Have you ever walked into a place where you can sense that the staff has read all the negative reviews they get? There’s a downtrodden, sort of “I’m sorry for serving you this ****” aura that is absolutely palpable, permeating the atmosphere in the Double T. On a warm summer morning when people were out and Laurel traffic was thick, half of the dining area was completely closed off, and there was an uncomfortable silence hanging in the air. The food was edible, but that’s about it. The avocado slices on my southwest scramble were fresh and green, and I appreciated that nice touch — they weren’t brown and nasty. But everything was bland, barely lukewarm and the potatoes were dry. It’s a diner for chrissake —serve me my potatoes piping hot with some butter or grease or something, anything on them. The salsa had that straight-out-of-the-can look and taste to it. Double T diner pretty much lived down to its reputation. I simply can’t believe the producers of Gordon Ramsay‘s kitchen nightmares or one of those other reality shows hasn’t found this place yet, so their star chef can start throwing pots and pans and cursing out the pathetic, lackluster staff, while he turns it into a cash register. The place just seems so perfect for that.I won’t be going back to Double T, no matter how hungry I am. I guess I’ll just have to go to First Watch and stand in line with a crowd, waiting for something delicious."

"I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews, but at the same time, I get it. It's not as horrible as some other reviewers have stated, but it's decent enough. The portions of all the food that was ordered were great. The prices were great. The taste was just decent. Decent enough. But if you take into consideration the portion, the price, and the quality. It isn't a bad spot to grab a quick meal. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again. It wouldn't be my #1 choice, but I would stop by again."

"Nice place. Food was okay, but nothing special. Our waiter never checked to see if we liked our food and only came to the table to take the order and cleaning after our completion. They also brought us into an empty space that was kind of weird. I can ignore some things, but the service needs improvement. I recommend this place because restaurants have difficulty working with Covid, and we had a good time to feel ignored by the waiter."

"After many years, we decided to revisit Tu Sei Bella based on our fond memories of the delicious food. Although the flavors were just as we remembered, we were disappointed by the poor kitchen timing. Despite the pizzas arriving promptly for three members of our group, the other dishes, like my child's plain pasta with sauce, took a frustratingly long 30 minutes to be served. This resulted in half of us finishing our meals while the rest waited hungrily. It's a pity that such a fantastic dining experience was marred by this issue. We would love to return for the tasty food, but the timing concerns were a significant letdown."

"Delicious, hot and great quality. We ordered a basic pancake meal with, eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and a veggie skillet. The pancakes are not pictured because they came out later, but they were yummy, the batter was good, and the pancakes were fluffy. The pancakes here are dense, so be aware that you may not finish them."

"Best east coast bagels I 've had on the west coast. Period. This is an authentic diner with really feel-good food. The staff is also super friendly and hard working, to the point an off-shift employee stopped in just to say 'hi ' and, by their own decision, ended up working forty minutes when they noticed how busy it was. Roxy 's is a MUST visit. I know it will become one of my regular stops!"

"I recently visited Fort Dix for work and this pizzeria was recommended by many people local to the area, and it was an outstanding experience! The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel like part of the family. The cozy, inviting atmosphere set the stage for a delightful meal. The pizza was exceptional, with a perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, and a flavorful sauce. The freshness and quality of the ingredients truly stood out as did their hospitality. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every detail. Yordana's is a true gem, and if I return to the area, it will be a stop for me for sure!"

"Loved Carpinteria?s best and only best Bagel restaurant. Freshly served bagels with high-quality ingredients is the best way to start your day here in Carpinteria. Customer service is indeed phenomenal. The protein bagel is my favorite, with ham as a substitute it with double protein; recommended for those macho men who need their protein intake in the morning. I encourage anyone who will undoubtedly pass this place to try it, you will not be disappointed."

"My date and I were very engrossed in our conversation, and the service was perfectly attuned to our needs. The food and drinks were excellent, they accommodated us reasonably beyond their last call, and they even politely kept the door open a few extra minutes as we overstayed their hours. I couldn't be more pleased with the evening."

"Party of four with reservations for the patio. Seated right away with chips and salsa. Patio very comfortable with plenty of space between tables and lots of patio heaters. Large menu selection with very reasonable prices. I had Chili Verde plate which was delicious and nice and spicy. My wife had the Chili rellano which was good; we're still searching for the best chili rellano in our area. Service was prompt and friendly. $50 per couple with one margarita and one soft drink and two dinners. We will definitely be back. Returned again and had another great dinner. I had the same dish, again delicious. My wife had the shrimp tacos which were outstanding. Service was great."

"ANNEX Review Boulevard Diner is my comfort food going to place! You have an amazing amount of menu choices! You always have a daily special, but I usually go to Patty Melt or Reuben with Fries, but today I have the Chopped Beef Hamburger Steak dinner. It was 1/2 pound beef covered with juicy onions and brown engraving, with 2 sides and a HUGE dinner roll! I have potatoes and roasted Okra. The Okra was perfectly crisp and golden. Dinner was $8.99! If you're lucky, get my favorite waitress, Kathleen! My belly is sure to be happy! Thank you. 2022 Rating: Very affordable Rueben Sand, the! You get chips or signatures with the stacked sand, which for $6.99!"

"we have let ourselves in before a concert in the met for a bite and it was the perfect low key dinner in the bar we were looking for. we had a great salad, great pizza and cocktails. I would recommend reservations in advance, because the place and the cash will be filled out quickly after our arrival. despite the employment of bartenders was very attentive and overall the staff seemed to be in good spirits, for us the good moods were generally a bonus!"

"Yes, dining in a hotel that bears the Trump brand is going to cost you money. But yes, the experience provides a more than substantial payoff. We stayed for a week in the Doral section of Miami, and try as we might to resist Champions for fear of budgetbusting, we could not overcome the temptation. The Doral Hotel is all gleaming marble with accents of gold, and we feared disdain because we were, indeed, tourists on a lark for lunch. Nonetheless, we were greeted like celebrities by staff who could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Champions is the ultimate in a sports bargrille all metal studded plush leather, with a mile long bar, many TVs, and a patio area looking out on one of the three impeccably groomed onsite golf courses. A very engaging server, Denise, attended to our dining needs, answering all of our questions regarding children's meals, negotiating several food allergies, etc. The menu is varied, with designer salads, burgers, sandwiches, and more substantial fare fish, beef, chicken that could easily serve as late lunchearly dinner. All six of our meals were expertly prepared and elegantly presented. Denise checked in on us several times, even though the restaurant was bustling and she was quite busy. We felt we had her attention throughout, in a very professional and unobtrusive manner. Was this the most expensive meal we had all week? Yes. Were the meals and the experience worth the price? Indeed"
