"Food Hound: Tidbits Jake 's Wayback Burgers. Hey, everything you eat out there, it's your captain from the Wasteland... Brimstone (Etan says Hi!, ready to bring you another AMAZING Food Hound Tidbit! Today we met Jake 's Wayback Burgers in East Meadow, New York and drove back to the days where life was a lot easier on the tasty train; but the food was still to die! Etan and I went to this new location, which was opened about six months ago. When we walked through the doors, we were greeted with smiles and a big, welcome to Wayback Burgers from behind the counter. People were incredibly welcoming and ready to serve some killers! It is really a wonderful experience if the staff is really proud of what they do and I absolutely praise them for such fantastic settings. Now for dinner... The menu is not overly extensive; but there is a lot to choose regarding Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken (Sorry Lush, Specialty Sandwiches and Sides. I decided to start with the burger of the month, who was titled, The Cheeesy . I went to town with ketchup, lettuce, tomato, Raw Onions, Mayo and the topping of ALL toppings... BACON! The Cheeesy is a double patty burger with Mmm... CHEESE wanted to write home as you can literally taste the freshness in every ingredient. The meat at Jake 's is frozen NIE and the cooking process is simple and uses little wort to improve natural boiled aromas of the burger. Etan had similar blows on the so-called Jake Burger, which is also a doublepatty; however, with a standard back in contrast to the bread on Cheeesy. Both burgers were excellent and were extremely tasteful. You might think what could be better than a solid tasting Burger right? A kick a burger with a real hand Dipped Milkshake on the side!!! Oh yes, they have them here and much to choose! For this month we have dealt with the Irish Milk Shake cream and the Black White and WIN strawberry banana! All three shakes were intense (the Irish cream was a reaaallye near second, but the well mixed Strawberry Banana was super. We then came to some of the other delicious kindness that Wayback had to offer, including the Chili Cheese Fries, Homestyle Chili, Onion Rings, Home Made Chips (BBQ Regular and their ALL BEEF Hot Dog). Let's start saying that the chili remembered the days I spent in Coney Island and grabbed a Nathan's Frank and her chili... It literally brought me back what's good! That is said; we have swallowed the chili quite over everything and ate it also Ala ' Carte... Mmmm... Chili Cheese Fries, who were still crispy, as served and genuine cheese melted up (not from a can corresponds to a GREAT side! The beerbatter Onion rings were an enormous WIN (I don't know why so many places shy away from good old fashion rings . The BBQ chips were spectacular, I was a fan of simple chips at first; but after adding a little salt we were spot on. Last but not least, the hot dog was a bit small for my taste, but full of taste without the taste. We come back here and advise you while you stop in town. Every age can come and enjoy the great tastes of Jake 's Wayback Burgers... Etan and I can't wait to come back and bring Luscious next time! Make sure to tell them that the Food Hounds sent you!"
