"We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure."

"Completely uninspired breakfast. It was plain, and unseasoned. The highlight was the fried potatoes for me instead of the Salmon Eggs Benedict. The English muffin wasn't toasted, the salmon while they claim it was smoked had very little smoky flavor and the hollondaise lacked pizazz. Really disappointed with breakfast overall The wait staff was friendly, but ultimately inattentive. My wife and I waited over 30 minutes for our order (french toast and the eggs Benedict) and after eating, a check was never offered despite my credit card on the table, and me gently waving to the wait staff. I eventually walked to the manager and handed her my card and ask if I could pay. The restaurant was not overwhelmed by patrons, so I have to look at the maitre d' for the disconnect here. Skip this place and go to somewhere a bit more inspired, and caring about thier product and customers."

"We sat outside on the veranda on a rainy night. It was beautiful. But, our waiter Jessie made it even better. He was funny and attentive but not over-boding. My friend and I shared the crab /spinach dip which was delicious with plenty of crab. We also split the clams linguini. Just as good. The homemade pasta made a big difference."

We asked for breakfast recommendations and our waiter praised the pancakes, we both got them as well as a cup of coffee, the fresh squeezed Orange juice and the flight of juices. "Went with the family for Mother's Day so you can imagine it was busy. Had a reservation and table was ready within 5 minutes after we arrived. Very nice decor. Service was excellent, food was delicious with a wonderful varied brunch menu. Something for everyone as we have a vegetarian and 2 with food allergies. "New to the area and our 2nd visit to Mothers...Came in to try the soft shelled crabs and were disappointed. They were greasy and burned. The blackened Salmon was really good on the Legend salad though. I want it to be a local spot we frequent but both times we've been there food items were greasy, overcooked or burned. Live music and outdoor seating is great if you can get a table but not if they are ok serving food like that. Probably won't be going back."

"Night ladder was extremely rude, argumentatiw and annoyed after I tried to give feedback about the small 5oz part of over spiced pommes, soured cottage cheese, dry overcooked fried chicken and her behavior to me. I was worried enough to eat my kids stop eating so it could be thrown out. this manager was so demanding to reimburse a refund that I could not even share with this long-term local institution. I had to run away without refund, because she was totally inappropriate, even trying to talk with and had no interest in calming her tone, and still the nerve had to wish me a blessed day when I came out. I went back the next morning and the day leader was completely understanding and professional. he gave a refund and heard and appreciated all the feedback I had to offer. my family of 5 had not much to eat yesterday, but at least we have our $50 back to spend elsewhere. I highly recommend that everyone who has to talk to people in their profession: do not argue with their customers, especially others and employees! it is completely unprofessional and unprofessional. I will never again eat powder river pizza or recommend."

"what is the point of taking reservations for a birthday when they do not keep their table? list the dinge that were wrong: 1. had a reservation that was not honored. they have no reservation system to even check. we sat an hour later on a table for three with a party of five. 2. no service to speak. no host stands to welcome them, just random server running around. the manager kept running with the servers that try to do their jobs. 3. eating at best was mediocre. $165 for the driest, most overhauled tomahawk I ever had. it was cold when it came to us. nothing was good here. sesame garnelen was blanching and adorned by oil. hamachi crag was over boiled. salat tasted as if it came from a bag. 4. try to order more, but the kitchen was closed. no warning before last call or kitchen closed. we sat late and let us know that it was last call for food would have been a basic courtesy. we wanted to make the cure menu, but it was definitely not worth it. Moreover, the server and the host did not even realize that we received the cursor menu on any kind and wise. what a sweat. don't go here. it is a tiny corner restaurant that serves as the last resort for hotel guests to eat. the lobby is extremely loud with drunk people who have a private party in a public space. I just left a tip because it was Christmas. I would have gone out every day."

"Went here tonight. Been here once before. Just moved into the area. A friend of mine has gone here for years. Tonight she ordered a pizza and found a piece of glass about an inch long inside the crust of her pizza. We understood that it obviously must have been some kind of accident but when we spoke to the manager they acted as if we placed the glass in the pizza. They told us they would pay for the pizza but the manager/ Co owner?? said he's been doing his job for such and such years and has never experienced something like this with a piece of glass this big. Implying it was placed by us. It was very disappointing that they did not take any responsibility for THEIR mistake and accommodate a loyal customer. Left a bad taste in my mouth. As someone who has had my own business, I definitely was not happy with their customer service. Unexcusable!!! I pointed out how bad this could have went but they did not show any care about the situation. Passive aggressively asked if she wanted another drink."
